  4. Street Address or Area of Residency - 5 Saldin Street Full name [soulessScone] Lyuin Avern Race(Include culture if able) - High Elf Are you the Household owner? - No. If not, who is the Household owner? - Cheza What faith do you follow? - I currently operate under the Aengulic Patron Tahariae as is required of my line of work. Who else resides within your Home?(Full names & Race [MC names in Brackets]) - [Grimhonk] Cheza, [CommunistSpy] Aislinn If living within the Capital of Al-Wakhrah, does your home have a basement or any self made modifications? (One that has been built by yourself, or by a specially appointed steward.) I am not aware of such modifications. +~+~+~+ Citizen door keys will be redistributed to ensure the safety of all citizens. With that, a new law is to be set out for use of the citizen doors located near the docks and the main gate. The Citizenship door near the main gate of the city, as well as by the docks, are to ONLY be used by citizens and trusted companions of that citizen. Citizens are to NEVER let in someone they do not know, especially a large group wishing entrance upon the city. This means you are to never let in a group of bandits or raiders, even if they pay you. If you are found guilty of letting in someone that is banished within Khalestine, bandits, a raiding party, or anyone that enters the city that is not a citizen but ends up breaking the law, you are subjected to the one or more of the following consequences, depending on the severity ; A fine of up to 2000 minas, the possibility of revoking citizen door keys, the possibility of banishment and eviction, the possibility of public execution. Do you understand this law, and will ensure to follow it? This also applies to all household members as well. - I shall.
  5. Aldrik ducks past Ivanus or attempts to raising an index finger as he raises his voice, a wolfish grin splitting his fair features as he waggles said finger in the air. "I do not believe a bounty hunt will be necessary when I can humbly invite him to stand before us and appear a touch more honest than a common fugitive. Suspect or not, the Mali assisted in raising Lyuin's daughter, so he can't run for long."
  6. Aldrik pauses at their words before he'd state in a rather deadpan fashion "My issue with Cleric apprentices nowadays is they get too used to thinking in terms of one venue: Magic. Firstly, forming shields from Clerical light would require years upon years of experience, not to mention would be so draining, you'd practically be rendered a mewling kitten." "War-Clerics are War-Clerics because they learn NOT to rely solely on one avenue...though perhaps Ivanus might have thoughts on the matter..."
  7. Aldrik frowns at the news, seemingly rather unsurprised by the actions of the authorities and the typical actions of cults. "Ordos...are you sure that's the name or a shared understanding of an 'Order.' As for the issue of the law, sadly we have to take calculated risks, if we act against our descendant's guardsmen we will end up exiled ourselves." He'd glance to Ivanus, bemused. "I'd say I tell the Clerics what I've told Heshakomeu and Ramza. Wear armour, carry real steel and temper your mettle. Not daggers and leather but heavy duty equipment. Dress the part, a gorget serves well against a sharp pair of teeth. Be tentative and remember that sometimes information might serve us better than a corpse...though both can be reassuring."
  8. The delicate and rather tentative footsteps marks the arrival of Aldrik, the Itharel moving towards the doorway in more casual attire: Sky blue shirt and charcoal tailed waistcoat. He'd announce his presence by stretching upwards to peer above the shoulder of the hulking presence that is Ivanus, a thin line of amusement slipping onto his features as he comes to a halt. One might note the sloshing of water within his boots. "Sorry I'm late, decided to walk here."
  9. Aldrik trundles upon the scene, his eyes sliding from the corpse to the living woman to the burning lodge. He'd stretch dismissively at the murder scene seeming to only note the Ikuras cult symbol carved upon the head. He'd state rather dryly: "Ah, yet another cult going around murdering women. Ikuras this time, all I need now is for a sea-god cult to show up and I can stamp my Bingo card." He'd smirk momentarily at the sight, taking it in once more before wrapping his cloak round himself and trundling forth to assist with extinguishing the flames or checking the wounded parties. He'd pause hearing the murmurs of Lyuin voiced at the back of his mind. "We need to talk to Skale. My fear is the backlash of this attack may reflect on him being formerly allied with Ikuras." "I'll note you said formerly, who else would have a motivation to harm the Mali's wife aside from the one who received lashings from him? Skale is my favourite but we've had fence jumpers before."
  10. Awesome, I think this looks interesting. Also good reasoning for a dedicated warrior who can be badass with a blade. I also like how damn rich it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9D2mvoMKLE
  11. *A simple slip of parchment has been left below one of the notices* "You have Aldrik, Itharel of Hope."
  12. Lyuin nods slowly "It is cruel but it should hopefully lower the number of child evocationists carelessly slinging spells of a lethal nature around. I'm surprised nobody has thought to create Arcane Scholars in an environment where they might be educated of it's detrimental nature. As for the previous law about using it in a public space...I struggle to understand why someone would even /need/ to use magic in a public space...unless for self defence..."
