He is right when he says that there are a younger demographic now then before.

People are right to say age doesn't always effect maturity.

I took a while to mature and I thank LoTC and our community for making me more mature over time. The "kids" that join us will turn into the mature players from their experiences as well. That's why I don't mind who joins because they will sort themselves out.

I agree with bird whisperer, partially. The issue isn't 'maturity' which as LOTC has proven, some of the oldest members of our community show a clear lack of, it's a lack of empathy and understanding. Which, unfortunately, you can't exactly enforce or teach. Return to a mutual understanding that everyone behind the screen is human, and maybe you'd see change, but trying to ask people to be 'mature' is as difficult as trying to land a man on the sun.
