What do you think the server will be like? - I've heard stories from my friends about it, and I really just want to give it a go. I've heard a lot about the snow elves and really wanted to see if I could do some RP with them.

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the act of stepping into a fictitious characters shoes, and acting out their life according to their morals and principles. 

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is using information gained outside of the game through teamspeak or skype in-game, affecting your characters choices and ultimately how they rp around certain people and groups, without being knowledgeable about it in-game on their character.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - 
 

Aerdun was one of the original Elves who entered the great ice caves and lake that was to create the Mali'Fenn. One of the most courageous, he was the first to enter the lake and investigate it's wildlife, diving deep down to study the plants and animals. He was lost for many years when the cave collapsed and the thanic ore reacted with the water to create an ice prison. In his solitutde among the ice, he dreamt of a large dragon, and through his exposure to the thanic ore, physically changed under the ice. Which once was terribly cold, felt warm to him. He could feel himself, not grasped by the icy tendrils, but comforted by their embrace. He was happy being trapped inside the cocoon of isolation. It was a dark day in his mind when he felt the ice melt around him. He felt something unbelievably hot peirce the ice, sunlight. The ice had melted around him to form a lake again, and the block of ice that he now resided in broke off from the motherberg, and was transported by water all the way out of the mouth of the cave. Aerdun wasn't amused when the ice was melted and the sun beat down on his pale, thin body. 

 

Awakening to the new world scared him. He had lost his memory, and could only remember the ice, nothing else. Be this from the shock, or the trauma he had just endured, he would never know. He trudged onwards however, away from the group who had been defrosted so unceremoniously with him. He left them, to find his solitude once more.

 

Living like an animal, eating fungi and small animals whenever he could find them, Aerdun became almost wild. He found his new form unnerving and scary, but he found in his self-imposed exile, this was the least of his concerns. News of the fringe came to him late, and he only managed to travel there under cover of darkness and a full length robe and hood, to his pale face and features. He continued his life of self-exile in this new land until one day when his life would change forever.

 

A small boy, hunting in the woods. Aerdun heard him coming a mile away, and instantly found shelter among the tree branches quickly. He saw the small would be hunter with an odd looking bow, and then he heard it. The low tremble, the roar of a bear. The bear lumbered closer to the boy, who still held his bow upright. An arrow unsettled itself from the nook, launching towards the bear. It went wide. The bear began it's omnious walk towards the boy, gathering momentum as it increased it's speed, the bears mouth almost full to roar again, when the boy dropped the bow. He ran and tripped. Aerdun grimaced, then fell from the trees, aiming for the bears neck. His small dagger pierced into the bears neck, and quickly after pulling the blade free, Aerdun swivelled on the spot, squatting down a little mid-swivel and the small blade went through the roof of the mouth of the bears open maw. The bear staggered, and then fell, keeping it's eyes on Aerdun. Aerdun looked round to the boy, and walked over. The boy looked up wide eyed. 

 

"Da, snelf scum! Ave Orenia! Ave Kaedrin! AVE CHIVAY! DEATH TO ALL SNOW ELVES! WE BURNT YOUR HOME LINDALE! DO NOT THINK I WILL SPARE YOU SCUM! FEAR ME!"

 

He tried to pull his sword clumsily and spat in the direction of him, and Aerdun muttered a few sounds, looking confused. He couldn't speak, he hadn't used his voice in such a long time. He remembered the word the boy spoke though as he dashed through the forest. Away from the clumsy Orenian boy who had finally managed to draw his short-sword and now tried to give small chase. Snow Elf. 

 

He promised himself there and then, to find the meaning of the word. To find those he supposed may be his brothers and sisters from many days past. To find the lands he could possibly call home. His isolation and ice hunger would have to wait, it looked like the people he once called friends needed him. It was time to return to his old life, whatever it was and set things straight. 

 

What are they like? (personality): - 

Scholarly and philosophical. Neutral and logical. Very high-strung, stressed, but also highly intelligent. Very bookish and slightly cold in nature, Aerdun has a very strong dislike for anyone he doesn't deem intelligent enough and will go out of his way to avoid them or see them fail. Some might say he is a typical grandfather like character, kind and giving, but others would call them nieve and see the monster that lurks beneath.
 

What are their ambitions?: - 

Aerdun wants to help the Mali'fenn become the most powerful Elves in existence, and spin public opinion to the struggle of Mali'fenn, against those who would see them fail. he is a gifted writer, and as such wants to create a vast array of knowledge pertaining to the Mali'fenn, allowing all to understand and appreciate the greatness of the Mali'fenn and their ancestory. 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - 

Aerdun Elensarian has an avid love of books, and their creation. He is a lover of history and takes keen interest in politics. He is half-gifted with a sword, but in no means as good as those who have trained all their lives. He is a proud elf, proud of his heritage of being one of the first snow elfs. He also has an untamed love of wine and over-indulges too much leaving him inebriated for much of the time- a bad habit for anyone. 
 

Give us a description of how they look?: - 

 Aerdun has dark hair, and the typical pale skin of any snow elf. His ears are elongated, and also extremely pale. As an elf, he is extremely young of face and body, although his age is near enough 350 years old. His almost ice-like green eyes give away his intellect and age however. His eyebrows are bushy, almost unkept while his face is clear of any scars or marks.
