Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: -  You act as a character, where you use their motivations and mindset to help them make a desicion. Also using their strengths and weaknesses accordingly, for example a coward won’t go off to war without a serious reason.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Breaking the 4th wall and know things your character doesn’t actually know and use that information in roleplay, even though he didn’t learn it in character.

 

What’s powergaming?: -  Doing something without giving other roleplayers a chance to react such as, Jack stabs Bob in the face. Bob:((Let’s roll?)) Jack: ((I already stabbed you.))

 

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Samson grew up in Abresi with his grandparents. His parents both died in an unknown plague, a few years after he was born and his grandparents took him in. However, he had a small peaceful life with his grandparents, and learned to became a glassmith, thanks to his grandfather and his forge.

 

His childhood was pretty decent for him. He helped his grandfather with glass smithing, transporting the products around the capital to sell, and bring back more materials, food, and money back home. He didn’t have much connection with the other kids, since he was a bit shy around other people. However, his cousin, Maxwell,  helped him a lot in those years with interacting with people and some new tricks with glass smithing.

 

Sadly, that peaceful life took a bad turn, and his grandparents both died of a fever. Samson was alone, until the water's flooded the world, which caused him to  flee to the fringe. That very moment caused him to be  paranoid. He got over it easily, but due to the paranoia, he was lacking on sleep  and developed insomnia, which is why he is now known as  ‘Sleepy Samson’ He has just recently been working in human settlements around the fringe such as Kaldonia and Vekaro making glass.

 

What are they like? (personality): - Shy, forgetful, kind, hardworking.

 

What are their ambitions?: - To settle down in a small town and continue to make the finest glass in the fringe.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Has a good experience with glass-making and a hard worker. He has insomnia which makes him constantly tired and forgetful

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - Samson has long black hair, enough to cover one of his eyes and also has black eyes, due to his insomnia. His outfit is a grey tunic, grey pants, brown shoes and gloves, a black cape and a red headband.
