I was looking up celebrations where a drunken episode of forbidden 'romance' could occur, and I was wondering if the Festival of Ale is something where two families of Drow that hold marriage before sex and children as a high thing, could have a little slip up with a male and female and end up having a child that is given away so that the female's family is not ashamed? 

And he is incredibly young, being only 20, so I am also wondering if that could happen or not, since I'm not sure if that event still happens or not

In the case with dark elves though, I would actually think no one would care really. If we were talking humans yes, but in your particular situation, I would say no.
