What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the act of taking the role of someone else and acting as if you were them. When you roleplay you always make sure to try to act as much like your character as.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Acting out of character within a game (Ex: A friend tells you the name of a person who you have not met and you use that to your advantage)

 

What’s powergaming?: - Using a emote to affect someone that cannot be prevented or countered. (Ex: Fokgram Redbender pulls out his sword and kills everyone)

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

I Fokgram Redbender lived a very good life when i was a young dwarf. My mother and I were farmers in the mountain ranges of Asulon. My mother was

always telling me stories about how my father was a noble warrior in the Legion and how he died. Apart from my Mother and Father I have a cousin. I had no idea of the existence of him until he arrived at our door after his parents died in a fire in Kal'Karik. We sometimes went to Kal'Karik to sell our food to the people in the city. So it was saddening to hear of the cities fate.

When Jorik Strongaxe arrived at our household he hated the chores and he always treated me like a brother even though he never had one. When we were 

older he told me of this new land called Anthos. A couple years later Jorik left to this new land and the farm felt empty without my brother.

 

I did work and chores until I couldn't take it anymore. I must travel to Anthos. I then told my mother goodbye. She gave me a journal to keep track of my findings. By getting on a ship, I would eventually be lead to Anthos only a year after my cousin. Once I arrived at Anthos, I trekked through the mountains and lands my lack of pathfinding skills not helping me. After a long time I finally found a city called

Kal'Azgoth. I noticed a skirmish soon after between the Legion and Ondarch's minions. I had to do something so I ran in and grabbed a fallen Legion's

Sword and Shield and fought alongside my dwarven kin. I fought for a long time and through the whole time I was thinking of my father and how he had 

died fighting with the legion. The legion who survived congratulated me and said I fought bravely with them and maybe in the future I could join 

the legion back at a city called KalÕIthrun. This was the oppurtunity of a life time, if I joined the Legion maybe I could find Jorik and start a life of my own.

I decided I would become a writer because of the journal my mother gave me. The urge to record the events of my lifetime and lifetimes of others appealed to me greatly. My journey so far would hopefully send me to KalÕIthrun, to join the legion, find my kin, and keep recording my journeys.

 

What are they like (personality)?: - Cunning, Outgoing for Family, tries to work around direct confrontation and trick his opponents.

 

What are their ambitions?: - Fokgram aspires to become a writer, a soldier in the legion, and somebody to be remembered by all Dwedmar for times to come.

 

Do they have any special skills?: - Being able to remember battle strategies, Outwitting my opponents

 

What are their weaknesses?: - Losing family members or friends. He can also shy away from dangerous situations sometimes a little too often.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Fokgram has a brownish red hair and a long spiky beard. He is 4 feet tall, and skinny compared to most dwarves. He almost always has a pouch on his belt carrying his beloved journal.
