What’s the rule you agree with the most?: -  The rule about metagaming and powergaming.

Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yes I do.

Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: -  Roleplaying is when you become a character which is either already made or you make one up, and the character has to be made in accordance to the theme of the roleplay.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is when someone uses information that they know, but the character shouldn't know. For example: "John somehow knew that there was going to be a raid the following night, and so he began preparing for it, not sure how he knew there would be one, but he just knew anyway." They may have talked about a raid out of character, but his character shouldn't have had that information.

 

What’s powergaming?: -  Powergaming is when someone forces an action on another person.

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Pauvre âme was the son of a farmer, his father a simple loving man with a large heart. They lived in a small merchant town on the edge of Malinor. His mother died on the night of Pauvre's birth. Having no knowledge of his mother he constantly asked his father what she was like. Thus his father sat him down in the cold nights and told him all the wonderful romantic stories he had about his mother. As Pauvre grew he became increasingly fascinated with all the floras he and his father grew. He did numerous experiments on them seeing if he could increase the rate in which they blossomed, or possibly combine them to get something new entirely. This was very unusual behavior for a child a young as 7. His friends always fascinated with what new ideas he had and making wagers on whether they would work. Soon they tried to join him but were immediately lost. But as the years past, more farms moved in around the town. This was bad for his farther's sales, they began going into dept and being wood elves didn't help either since they had no respect in the area. Eventually Pauvre had to leave his beloved school in order to help his farther make ends; but it wasn't enough, they simply could not compete with the larger farms. 

Then the tax collectors came with a grave warning, "Have the money ready tomorrow or consequences will be held." The next day they came for their money, needless to say they had none. 

So Pauvre's father turned to his son, "Son, go and leave me."

"Father, no I can't,"

"GO! I've lived my life, I've experienced love and raised a wonderful son. But now its time for me to go, and reunite with your mother."

"But."

"Use the back door." with that he returned too the tax collectors. "Do what you have to do."

They raised their torches and set fire to the small hut. At the sight of the flames Pauvre began to run, but not before hearing his fathers scream as he burned alive. Pauvre watched the flames through his blurry eyes, tears stinging the burns he had sustained on his fore arms. Listening to his fathers screams, then the building collapsed; the screams were smothered until they were no more. Years later Pauvre, now age 20, got a job as a stable hand. He tended to the horses, and made good tips. During his time here met an elven woman that worked there by the name of Vaible, she was a couple years older than Pauvre. They soon fell in love and wedded, this went on for about a century. The time they spent together seemed like it would last forever. Vaible became a teacher and Pauvre became a librarian, reading the most fascinating books over the different races and their traditions. The destruction of aegis and the great collapse. So when the arrival of the new race the Bohra came about, Pauvre headed north to study them closer, Vaible came along. The trip went horribly wrong, Pauvre did not expect for this new race to be hostile towards Vaible and him.The Bohra struck out at them, stabbing Vaible in the stomach, Leaving a gaping hole in her side. Retreating to a cave fairly close to them, for shelter, Pauvre held Vailble in his arms tears streaming down his face. 

She bled out in his arms, drawing in her last few breaths she said three simple words, "I love you."

When Pauvre returned home he grew sad and lonely, waking up each morning looking over at where she use to lay. Staying pent up in his library losing his grip of his sanity, he grew further and further away from society. "I am tired of the deaths, tired of not being able to protect the ones I love." So he joined elven military, he became very skilled with a bow, but his small stature refused to let him wield a sword. But he became very skilled at treating wounds and illnesses with herbs he found whilst foraging for food with the others. He became a major reliability in the field. But when he returned home, he found that the books he once loved bored him. Not knowing what to do with his life he began walking around the towns, studying the buildings. He became increasingly interested in the designs, so he decided to try and pickup architecture, and construction.

What are they like? (personality): -  Pauvre is a very caring person and is willing to do anything to help a friend out. Loves nature and all forms of art.

 

What are their ambitions?: - He would like to help anything here can, and he wishes to be an architect.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): -  Pauvre strength is anything artful, and his weakness is how paranoid he is, not letting very many people get to know him.

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - Pauvre Ame is a 4'7 Elf with a tan skin tone, and two amber eyes. his near white blonde hair you could say is his pride coming down over his chest. The left bang a faded green color. (How ever I would describe outfit but I have made multiple so I can change it over time, overboard I know.)
