The Elixir Of Enlightenment

He felt calm and collected after just a sip. Then he drank the full dose, and the Visaj alchemist knew it had finally worked. To test it one last time, Damasus called upon a memory of his dead parents and felt nothing. Usually there was a knot in his stomach, but now it was gone. No reminiscence of the dead could bother him, and why should it? They were dead after all.

All he felt was the faintest sense of accomplishment, though it was masked behind his feeling of duty to the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya.

After some hesitation and contemplation, Damasus went to write down the recipe in his small and neat handwriting that wasn't exactly readable due to the tiny letters and fancy curves.

"The new standard of purity is upon us," the alchemist whispered as a fake recipe for the Elixir of Enlightenment was documented in haste. It is stored within a cabinet in his home.

Basically my character Damasus created a new potion, though it is strictly roleplay. ONLY Damasus knows the recipe as of right now, and I simply wrote this post as a prelude for events to come. The Elixir of Enlightenment is actually a potion that dulls all emotion to an extreme and is a very potent depressant. It's effects last for a full two elven weeks.

Effects:

-Renders the user incapable of the emotions of anger, and grief/sadness,

-Dulls all other emotions to near non-existence. EX: Happy = satisfied/content

-Allows the user to clearly focus on a task without being bothered by thoughts irrelevant to the task at hand.

Disclaimer:  There are no actual set ingredients until the professions plugin is fully fixed for alchemy. This is just a potion to enhance roleplay - mainly HE roleplay.

Side Effects:

If one takes more than a dose every two elven weeks they are prone to extreme head-aches.

Thoughts of suicide can occur though it is rare and unusual.
