Posters are strung about Tempum and on the road from the Cloud Temple to Aldersberg. These posters are of decent quality, and the ink used to write on it is recently dried. They read...

 

"        A Feast in Aldersberg!

 

Aldersberg County will be hosting a feast in approximately half an Elven Year [the 12th of August]. Food will provided to all, and there will be many festivities. This feast is to celebrate the recent prosperity of the County, and to thank all of its loyal serfs for their labor. Below is a list of festivities:

 

 

• An Open Tournie - Anyone willing to enter may pay 10 mina. In return, they are allowed to battle. It is a free for all, and the last man standing is given a ferrum battle axe. [Note: I will be giving the battle axe to the winner on the new map, because of the wipe, once we get established. I also ask that those who pay the 10 mina to enter repay it when the wipe happens, but that's up to you.]

 

 

 

•  The Feast - All participants enter the keep and head upstairs to the feasting hall. Here, they are served, and the feasting begins! A performer of some kind should be present, and the food will be well given out. Dishes to be served will range from fresh, delicious apple or pumpkin pies to savory chicken! Expect some real treats.

 

 

 

• Oaths - All current Men at Arms will swear an oath to the Count, along with the Seneschal and Master at Arms. On top of this, any who wish to join the Militia as common Militiamen may do so at this time, and any interested serfs can also become a part of the County.

 

 

After these festivities take place, those who previously volunteered will be given re-compensation [some minas after the release of 4.0, since it'd otherwise be pointless], and then the keep will be cleaned. The champion of the tournie will also be given an offer to fill the last position of Men at Arms in the militia! Such is a rank of prestige within the County, for during times of war, able-bodied serfs are levied, and four levies are put under the command of each Man at Arms!

 

The County looks forward to welcoming all of you into its land, and providing you with an enjoyable feast! Its people will see you then."

((It's because you have a quotation mark in the title. The forums automatically capitalise the first letter of every word in thread titles so according to it the first letter of "a is the quotation mark, so it uncapitalises the a. It's to stop people from having titles in capital letters, I believe
