Hobbin greets you, happy to have you in his presence. The two of you talk briefly about the day, and about how the early morning showers have been key to keeping the crops growing quickly. "Say, 'ave ye been seein' dem greenskin 'round 'ere? Dey come in, an dey treat us halflin's like nobody's! Jus' today, one of dem picked me up by ma beard. Me squirmed and me shrieked, but they's be 'bout four time da size o' me! Me, fer one, ain' 'appy wif it. Me says we pu' an end ta it!" The conversation continues, and Hobbin explains to you about how back in Thales, there were rarely any orcs that came by Shortwood. Shortwood was calm, gentle, and pleasant.
