Mali’fenn Culture

Clothing:

The snow elves typically wear light clothes, even though they live in the snow, it does not bother them. The lighter the clothes, the less heat. The snow elves typically see colors as a representation of something.

Gold: Arcane, Magic, Mages

Red: Strength, Soldiers

Blue: Science, Discovery

White: Politics

Orange: Evil, as it represents fire

Language:

Snow elves use more common than other elves, due to their long period of isolation. It is typical for them to only refer to something ancient in elven, and of course the basic elven is something often used. They refer to themselves as Mali’fenn, or snow elves, and other elves Mali’mira, or warm elves.

Technology:

The Mali’fenn have rather advanced and creative technology. Due to the loss of using fire, they use cold to their advantage as well as thanium. Lots of their technology has to do with technomancy, or combining magic and technology. They have made some highly advanced technology, some only working for a short period of time.

Their tools are mostly made of ice. They have a secret form of ice forging that is kept secret. It has the ability to forge the ice to an extreme level of durability.

Magic:

The snow elves have a culture that involves magic to an extreme amount, which came from their high elven origins. The magic that they use typically has to do with ice, frost, and cold. Naturally the majority of their used magic is hydromancy, and the ice of hydromancy. They have an inability to use any magic that produces heat, such as pyromancy and electromancy. Their magic is typically within their technology, as they can not use any form of heat within their technology they must incorporate the arcane.

Military:

Their culture prefers peace over combat, but when provoked they will attack in full out nature. Snow Elves are very territorial, because of this, they are one of the most militarized elves, as they strongly encourage defending their home. Their art of combat, as typical elven traditions is focused on speed and rushing. They are not typically focused on archery, more so the art of the blade. Their weapon of choice is usually the rapier, as it is a quick weapon.

Religion:

The Mali’Fenn are very religious, and worship the Temple of Wyrvun. Wyrvun is the Aengul of winter; a dragon-Aengul, biggerthan mountains. He appeared to the Snow Elves after they aided the Dwarves in defeating Ondnarch in Kal’Azgoth. When Wyrvun appeared, the Snow Elves bowed down to the dragon-Aengul as he named them his chosen people, while the Dwarves stood and watched.
