  • Impose a system of five guilds that recieves districs within the Kingdom. Each guilds recieves guild leader, chosen by guild. Monthly term. If quota, set by King, does not get reached, guild leader gets removed by King, and new one must be chosen. Kings council comprised of guild leaders as stated above.
  • King can and shall be removed if 60% or more of the populous of the Kingdom votes 'aye' with legal, and just proposal from the 'clan' council. Clan council comprised of each Clan's clan father.
  • Lords recieve tasks, they recieve merit based on how well they do given tasks.
  • Lords are given a week to finish tasks if not finished already, if not finished within the week given, they shall be removed.
  • War and peace shall be chosen by the Lords, and approved or veto'd by the King.
  • King can not propose going to war, nor can the King propose peace.

I, Lathros Oilbeard swear by the Grand King of Dwarves, and the gods of the Brathmordakin, that I shall bestow upon the Kingdom a golden age of triumph in economics, population, and militarism.

I swear by my beard of Oil.

You are literally dumb, the Lords ran this kingdom to the ground using Indago, in fact this if anything counters what you are saying, the system rewards hard workers with a larger say in government. This takes powers from the thanes and give to the guild leaders....

Who do we need? Some Grandaxe sucking up to your hold system for your vote? Or a Starbreaker nobody has heard of, ast least Lathros will listen to his people.

Why would you want to bring back something we tried, and failed at? That would be the most autistic thing to do. Also the kingdom can't run by just having dwarves 'work', since there wouldn't be a steady flow of any minas whatsoever going toward the kingdom. The only thing I can see from this another council being added that won't do anything at all like they normally do, and clan thanes making a company and getting power that way.

I am not sure what you refer to when you say "we tried and failed at", as far as I am concerned and correct me if I am wrong, but the system is new. What he is suggesting is increase the flow of mina by raising the efficiency of guilds... as for the Thanes making companys, I believe he means to revvive the five kingdom guilds and finish the company system

We dont need a dwarf part of the circle jerk and buddies with those who are corrupted leading us into the dirt. We have thanes who represent their clans, companies that work and can trade with the kingdom. We had guilds but remember how well those worked out. Free market and enterprise will save the dwarven economy. Obviously he isn't listening to his people as I am one of them. Obviously he needs the backing of a king who, ironically, was dispose of by lathros and friends.

My fathers concerns were barely listen too and now mine will fall on deaf ears.

We attempted a guild system back at the end of Anthos, and into The Fringe, and it failed due to guilds not being active, or the lack of guilds. As far as 'increasing the efficiency of guilds', I mean.. unless you take money from companies directly, they won't magically slip into your pocket, and even then 50 minas won't make up for a whole month of business.

The old system was the heart of the old Kingdom, we believe that this old Kingdom was the worst. This is partially true. The systems in which that old kingdom was run were fantastic, however, it was plagued by the Kings and the Lords which were nominated by the people, yet we vote for those we believe are great, however they turn out not to be. Those lords which we all thought to be in a wheel of friendship simply agreed. If none of the Lords agreed, how would we get anything done. Without agreeing we would be stuck in a constant state of argument. With reinstating this, I hope to fix the stalemates that were caused by the flaws of that old system.
