How did you hear about us?: I have known about you for so long I can't remember how I first found out. I believe it was just a google search or maybe on youtube. 

 

What do you think the server will be like?: I'm not to sure, I hope that its busy, bustling, and full of creative individuals!

 

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes, of course.

 

What is the rule you agree with the most?: I like the idea of the "Mechanical Standard" it fits with my general philosophy about this whole ​endeavor.

 

Do you understand the combat rules, and what you can and can't do if you choose to roleplay as a villain?: Yes, it seems pretty straight forward.

 

Are there any rules that confuse you or don't make sense?: The war rules are pretty tricky but I'm sure it will make more sense once I get stuck in.

 

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying,to me, is adopting a different persona and just channeling it. Its about escapism and immersion, with a hefty helping of improv acting!

 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is playing the game to win by any means necessary. Abusing exploits or just treating the game like a game. Its not necessarily bad but it doesn't mix with dedicated roleplaying.

 

What is powergaming?: Most powergaming is Min-maxing. Manipulating a characters traits so that they have only powerful traits and few weaknesses. Usually by abusing the rules of the game. I always view this philosophy as an evil because it can ruin everyone else's fun.

What race are they?: Ewan is a highlander

 

What gender are they?: Male

 

How old are they?: They should be about 25 or 26 if I understood the time line correctly

 

(Note: the server lore was so extensive I had trouble keeping up with it, I hope that these time periods are correct and I have done my best to keep as much accuracy as possible)

 

Character Biography

Ewan was born a few years before the flood of Anthos, and it still haunts him to this day. He was two weeks premature, and a few days after he was born his mother died of a horrible fever. This sent his father into a spiraling depression, the once hardworking woodcutter could not handle the loss of his wife and turned to drink often neglecting his young son. Ewan grew up unloved spending most of his youth free to wander the outskirts of New Ager. He observed animals and learned the the basics of herbalism from observing their behavior. As he grew older he would escape to the forest to read. He discovered all sorts of subjects from magic (something he found he had little aptitude for), to alchemy and medicine two subjects that never ceased to fascinate him. Before he left Anthos he became an apprentice to a traveling doctor named Willem. He taught him how to care for people and apply all the things he had learned. Ewan traveled to Athera with Willem and began to ply his trade in the new world. 

 

What are they like?: Ewan can be very shy and is quickly labeled as an introvert. However, he is very empathetic and hates to see people suffer. This often motivates him to take action that would usually seem out of place for someone like him. He also has an incredible bed side manner and is just someone who is easy to talk to. 

 

What are their ambitions?: Ewan wants to make the world better, he wants to prevent death, pain, and suffering. He has few other motivations for what he does, he just wants people to be able to live a better life than him. He never wants there to be another motherless child. 

 

Do they have any special skills?: Ewan is quite proficient in herbalism and the general study of medicine. As I mentioned before his bed side manner is also excellent, he seems to know exactly what to say to people.

 

What are their weaknesses?: Ewan was a runt, and on top of that he was malnourished as a child. This makes him a pretty weak guy, and his frame is so skinny he can barely wear armor. Hes also practically useless in a fight, sure he can wave a club around to swat a few animals, but against an armed opponent hes completely useless. 

 

Give us a description of how they look?: Ewan is a bit of a runt, he small and skinny. He stands at about 5"10' and his forest green cloak drapes around him and brushes the floor as he walks. His eyes are a deep brown almost the same color as his hair. His skin is leathery and tan from years of travel and days spent in the wild. He is a very unimposing figure.
