Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. What is roleplaying?: - To interact with other players not through items such as ingame swords or armor but through emotes or actions that are typed out describing an action done by each player 

 

What’s metagaming?: - By metagaming you are giving yourself knowledge outside the RP such as knowing someone is a bandit OOCly but not ICly

 

What’s powergaming?: - When you give your character god-mode or close to god-mode in RP Battles or general RP such as Ex. Player 1:-strikes Player 2 in the chest with his sword as it plunges deep into the chest- Player 2:-Even though stabbed in the chest cuts Player 1's head off with easy and swift motion ignoring injury-

How old are they?: - 92

 

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Born and raised in Kal'agnar by his mother and father he lived a simple life his father a miner while his mother was a simple house-wife.  While his father had been working in the mines a misplaced strike of the pickaxe from a miner adjacent to him led to the collapse of the rooftop above them leading in an immediate death for his father while his partner suffocated trapped behind the rock wall.  Broken by this tragedy Vidar built a wall around himself, metaphorically, shutting those around him out.  His mother drove into a deep depression without her husband and the comfort of her son, she eventually offed herself leaving Vidar all on his own.  From this though Vidar created a new sense of life for himself as he began to help others preventing the same events from occurring to others.  As others around him grew very fond of him and loyal he began to always smile and be content with how things turned out,  at the time of his adolescence with his new found assets of the people around town he quickly found himself a place and occupation as a apprentice for a local smithy, excelling at the trade as he created works of art in the forms of pick-axes, One-handed swords, etc. his influence of those around him only grew stronger.  As he came of age he separated from his master thanking him for all of his help as he moved from Kal'agnar to a town known as Werdenburg working as a smithy for the farmers of the town, as he continued his work one of his crucible's had burst damaging his left eye and leaving a nasty burn scar down the cheek, it also burned through his smock running down his right arm which he used to protect himself to the best of his abilities.  Leading up to the current date where he know continues his line of work.     

 

What are they like? (personality): - Vidar is a strong-willed man driven with the goal of living a full life, hardworking in the tasks presented to him seeing them through to the end, he's loyal to those he works with and lives around, yet strict about who he chooses to be loyal to as it could quickly change should they cross him, resourceful as he relies on his surroundings to make a quick escape or gain the upper hand in fights, courageous ready to fight to the end and to his own grave if need be. 

 

What are their ambitions?: - To live life to it's fullest, keeping himself happy and content along with those around him, his sense of loyalty (Explanation of where it comes from in biography) towards others as he loves to make new allies or friends and making sure they are loyal to him as he protects them.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Skilled in the art of the melee weapons his greatest strength laying on the two-handed sword as he has the strength to carry and swing the sword with quick, decisive motions showing great control in the swings.  His weaknesses being on his legs as they are usually strained and hitting him behind the knee caps or kicking them in would quickly make him buckle and fall under his own weight, while also being partially being blind in the left eye (explanation in biography).

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - Standing tall for a dwarf at 4' 10" he keeps a bulky build, bright blue eyes that leave an impression on your memory, long black hair running down to his shoulders at the front and another inch down the back, a beard with two silver rings separating them, keeping a straight posture at all times, his skin tanned and almost leathery look to it as he was is a working man along with a soldier, scars placed in multiple areas of his body noticeable ones being the one running down his left cheek and the three claw marks that run down his Right Arm when he is not in armor.
