How did you hear about us?: - I have been looking into an immersive and high quality roleplay minecraft server for some time and when I searched for servers of that description this one was the top result.

What do you think the server will be like? - Amazing and immersive  judging from the information on this site and the wiki. 

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - I have read and agreed to the rules.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - I strongly agree with the rule that prohibits metagaming and powergaming.

Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- I understand that combat rules and understand what I can or can't do if I choose to roleplay as a villain.

Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: -  Acting in game as your player would, and using things like emotes to convey emotions  and actions, as well as contributing to other's roleplay experience. This might include speaking in a dialect your character would or knocking on a door before entering a house. 

 

What’s metagaming?: -  Using knowledge that you have from an external source to influence your character's decisions, like knowing exactly where a hidden location is that your character doesn't know about.

 

What’s powergaming?: -  Using roleplay mechanics to make your character do something that they normally wouldn't be able to do such as  climbing a tall mountain in 30 seconds.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Ecthallion was born into the humble family Att'riades. His father was a scholar who studied geological formations and his mother was a harp player. Their home was a small cottage a few miles away from 

Lin'ame. His mother taught him the harp a a young age and he continued to love playing it in his free time. Like most Wood Elves, he was a talented marksman and he would venture into Lin'ame to practice his archery skills daily. His childhood was uneventful with a few exceptions. When he was but nine years of age he was at the archery range where he practiced, and was retrieving arrows. Another young elf was assisting him, and the two did a fine job of retrieving the arrows. One had flown into the bush behind the range and the pair went to retrieve the arrow. A foolish archer waiting to shoot accidentally let an arrow loose. It flew into the wood behind the range and struck Ethallion's companion in the eye. The sight of his friend gushing blood and screaming in pain  never fully left Ecthallion, and since that incident he never practiced at the range again, choosing instead to venture off by himself and shoot home-made targets in the woods. The other notable thing that happened to him happened when he was about 17. His father R'yard had decided to take a trip to the Silver Marsh to study the geological wonders it held. Ecthallion accompanied him on this trek. After a long journey they reached the Marsh. Ecthallion helped his father collect samples from the silvery formations found in the Marsh. One day, they strayed near the edge of the biome, and enjoyed a spectacular view of the Shards.. Seeing the floating islands and ruins, Ecthallion was inspired to explore the unknown and go places where others had not tread. They returned safely from the journey and  Ecthallion finished his childhood in Lin'ame. He now searches the land for adventure and long forgotten places, and hopes to one day journey into the unknown.

 

What are they like? (personality): -  Ecthallion is an outgoing elf, who values his intellectual skills and music as much as his skill with a bow. He is passionate about protecting his nation and keeping darkness at bay. He is told that he can be arrogant and selfish at times.

 

What are their ambitions?: - Ecthallion hopes to see as much as he can of Athera. He also has a thirst for adventure that will drive him far from home, and an interest in making a difference in his home of Haelun'or and later all of Athera.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): -  Like most Wood Elves he is good with a bow. He prefers to use his brains to defeat an opponent rather that strength. He is deathly afraid of fire. He is a talented harp player. He can sometimes overlook someone but if he discovers his mistake he will make sure to correct it. He rarely holds a grudge, but when he does he doesn't give it up easily. 

 

Give us a description of how they look?: -  Ecthallion is about average height for a Wood Elf, and is also very thin. He has piercing blue eyes and a mischievous grin. He has good sitting posture from his harp playing and is told to have an intense stare. He has a small scar on the back of his right arm and calloused hands from holding a bow, but with strong fingers from playing the harp.
