The Tower in the Woods

From the forests of Aesterwald comes an unearthly lights A single robed figure standing amongst a clearing of trees, directing wood and stone into their place as they floated through the air, held aloft by invisible hands. Past an elven day, the tower was complete. A monolith of Avanite and Stone, it towered over the great keep of Vanderfall, it's four angelic statues held golden glass orbs in everlasting triumph.

 

In a nearby forrest, a girl trips on her own feet, bloodied and ragged. Falling to the ground, a hooded figure drops from the trees slicing a meat hook into her spine. With a scream and gasp for air, the girl claws her way to the dimly lit streets of Aesterwald, the figure following her curiously, quite like how a young boy would observe a snail. At the arrival of the sound of clanking metal of armour, the figure would turn quickly fleeing back into the forests. 

 

Strange lights come from the tower, explosions and strange sounds. Sulphur in the air, staining the nearby yree leaves yellow. The ground near the tower stain red with blood as if an unholy ritual was being committed. Amongst the crimson sodden ground, blue orchids would grow like weeds, giving off a smell of decay. The air shines brightly, it's glow coming from the four statues. Their orbs of glass pulsing to the beat of your heart. The tower beckons, it's surface made from a material not of this earth. Drawing your eyes to the door,a dim tapping sound could be heard, coming from behind the thick wooden surface.

*Grungron Irongut stands beside his Dwarven Family Balek Irongut and Dwain Irongut as he walks out of his home in Hiebenhall. He sees the tower and they trek a small bit north to the tower, they examine the tower and I put my ear to the tower and hear the faint TIp tap tip noise as it grows louder* "De feck is dis?"
