In the lab underneath the library a brutal sight can be

seen. The Sohaer lays frozen in a purple crystal substance 

which is solid to the touch and translucent, the elf inside lays

coiled in a ball, eyes closed as if resting.

 

 

If struck with steel, your weapon would recoil.

 

If struck with magic offensive, the crystal would absorb it

before repelling it.

 

If struck with silencing magic it would be ineffective.

 

If stuck with dark, holy or enchanting the crystal would

pulse slowly before returning to homeostasis. 

 

For whatever reason the crystal is unpenetrable but yet

there lies the Sohaer. A lynx within a capsule. Perhaps

he is resting? The hopeful mali would assume

he would return soon.

 

But for now, the lynx sleeps.

First off I want to apologize because this is really shitty 

of me to do this after just getting elected as NL.

 

 

However I would like to explain myself. I am currently

a junior in college and my schooling is paid for

via financial aid and private loans. The reason

I am resigning from NL is because my aid

got delayed 4 weeks so for the next month 

I need to find an income so that I can do things

like eat and pay for my books in order to actually

attend school. (But eating comes first)

 

Fortunately (sort of) I was not cast in the fall

production at my school so I have more time to

find a job. This also means that I will be staying on

the server as a moderate since I know

I will have enough time to do so. It may even be that

I end up having enough time to be NL but I can't be sure

and it isn't fair to anyone for me to initiate laws or other shiz

then find out I can't maintain it.

 

So you will need to hold another election. I feel really bad about

this but in the end I need to make sure I can eat IRL and make sure

you guys aren't catering to my possible spikes of inactivity. A NL

needs to be on as much as possible. Everyday if they can because

political positions should be ran IG.

 

Anyways. The crystal is actually IG and can't be broken so don't 

mod-shop to open it. I will do it when I can play Iat again.

Phaedrus takes on a grim composure as he looks upon the Sohaer, none of the tools or weapons in his forge could hope to shatter the material, the situation was obviously magical.

 

The Annilir orders his Elberu'cinhir to close off the area, heading off to his office within the barracks to begin one particularly important announcement...

Soft rumbles pulse from the crystal as the indestructible material

begins to expand, taking up more space. Anyone near the crystal would 

feel some sort of power pulsating, almost pressing against them.

 

The mali within lies in the same positon, curled into a fetal positon,

cocooned within the crystal. Nothing is known of how this came

to be or if it can be reversed. What can be known is the crystal has been 

expanding at a near-constant rate.
