The Creatures of the Tower

First the arrival of the girl with the hook embedded into back. Burying her, they thought the matter finished. 

From the forrest, from the tower crawled a slimy beast. Leaving a trail of blood and bile, the skinless man dragged himself along by the sheer friction of his skinless fresh on dirt. Discovered by the guard-force near main street, it gave shriek and a worrisome message. "Beware the one that lives in the tower.". As he died, the flowers that were rooted into his back drained his blood. Substituting blood for water, the blue orchids bloomed into a sickly purplish red.

As King Voron gave open court, a highlander women came to his throne, offering her services. Running an eye on her cleavage, the king ordered a room for the inn for her to lodge in. Unbeknownst to him, a dark figure hung above the ceiling by the many hooks embedded into his arms dropped onto his newest concubine, aiming to carry her away. Stricken down by a holy hammer, he turned to ashes, leaving only nails that were once thread through it's arms.

 

A hunchback begs for alms, his bulbous eyes running over a young man, he flexes, ripping his cloak off and revealing a metal cap on his hump. With a slick pop, the steel cap slides off with a wet sound. The hunchback straightens his back, his spine once folded to disguise his height. Screeching, the 8 foot tall man sprints towards the youth, lariating him before being struck down by axes.

As each death occured, the orbs of the tower glowed as if responding to their deaths. Like a spotlight, it illuminated the ground bellow it and directed a beam towards the keep. Amongst the common folk, many questions were asked and gossiped.

 

"What is this tower?", "What is its purpose?" and finally, "What horrors live inside of it?"
