It has been brought to the attention of many of the leaders of Laureh’lin that there are many mali’i that are looking for work and a place to live, due to their inability to live with their parents for whatever reason.

These mali’i, for the most part, are usually able to take care of themselves, but are still children and therefore still need some supervision and guidance. We believe that this lack of guidance and help may even be the reason why mali’i as young as 20-30 are getting married and having children, when they are still kids themselves.

 

All of these mali'i- under the age of 50- are from this day forward being welcomed to live in Norithel where they will be given free housing and set up with a trade of their choice that they can learn. The overseers of the Ward house will do their best to supply teaching or get a Ward in contact with someone experienced in their field of work.

Special arrangements can be made for younger mali’i that are still unable to take care of themselves.

 

Rules of Wards

• All wards must work or be learning a trade to stay in Norithel. This is backing up the ideals of Laereh’lin by making sure everyone pulls their weight and doesn’t laze around all day. This also makes sure they have skills when they are finally given the right to live on their own.
• There are a few rules regarding relationships of wards. Dating is not forbidden but as the wards are still children, marriage within the town or having children is forbidden. The wards, being children themselves, are far too young to be worrying about a family of their own.
• Intimate relations are also forbidden in Ward housing. This is to discourage bearing children and to be polite to the other wards in the house as no one wants to know what you are doing in the bedroom.
• Failure to follow these rules will remove you from the ward housing, as well as Norithel itself. 

​Norithel will not offer other housing if you break these rules as a Mali'i living in the Ward House.
