To the new King of the Crow-lands,

It is with peace in my heart that I read of your ascension to the throne and recognition of the rights of man. My family has made for you this cloak, in the style of our ancestors, to warm you in the winters and protect you from the harsh winds of storms and mountain passes.

Take this gift as a token of our blessing of your reign and apology for past transgressions, though we are now a family of Aesterwald, that our houses may live peacably and prosperously together and that the nations follow suit, so long as you continue to be a right and just king.
