Unable To Connect To Lotc

THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED "FOR ME" BY KOWAMAN. SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST TO SEE HOW HE SOLVED IT

Alright so 2 days ago I noticed that upon starting up minecraft and going into my server list, I would see that the server ip: mc.lotc.co and mc.lordofthecraft.net come up as "Can't resolve host name".

Today I checked and this time it simply came up as: "Can't connect to server."

As you can see, there are two servers other than lotc which indeed work and so that I don't see a comment mentioning to check the ip again:

Things that I have already attempted to do in hopes of solving the issue (all failed):

1. Check IP of server

2. Remove all mods

3. Delete and re-install .minecraft folder all together

4. Delete and re-install Minecraft.exe

5. Use different versions of minecraft (1.7.10 & 1.7.9)

6. Check for any updates within my computer system

7. Perform a mandatory update on my computer since my absence (the updates that happen when shutting down your computer).

8. Attempt to use the "Direct Connect" option within the server list menu

9. Attempt to connect to the server with several internet protocols (IP) and/or domains

I spoke with a few other members of LoTC and managed to come into contact with another whom happens to also be experiencing the same issue.

I'd like to make it clear that I have not changed any firewall (or anything) settings and only noticed the issue after returning from a school trip which lasted a week.

I hope this is enough info for now and I'll be sure to edit the post if necessary.

Thanks!

HOW TO SOLVE ISSUE:

Kowoman:

"Try doing the instructions here:

http://www.planetmin...-all-platforms/

They have worked for some people."

Try messing around with your internet. Change IP, get some proxy or whatever. I heard someone say hotspot shield works.

Another IP I didn't see listed here

login.lordofthecraft.net

Our domains are lotc.co and lordofthecraft.net, not lotc.net ^^

I'll edit the post accordingly, but this is what I discovered:

None of them seem to be working. Microsoft must be conspiring against Minecraft players for money. DEATH TO MICROSOFT!
