Official Carrion Response to the Act of the Attainder

 

 

This Act published by the "Lord Prime Minister" who is not seen outside of his private room or even the House of Lords has spat upon the honor of not only House Carrion as a whole but the Lord Patriarch and his Crowsguard.

 

To this, the Lord Patriarch Prince Paul Carrion, elected by his Kin takes note, and directly targets the Minister and his Act, as well as clarifying the Lord Patriarchs purpose.

 

 

Part I

 

 

 Furthermore, Ivan Barrow and Godferik Carrion are arraigned on several cases of robbery and the murder of an Orenian citizen as well as association to this murder, respectively. Both Ivan and Godferik are also charged with provoking tensions between the Kingdom of Renatus and Kingdom of Oren, for which allegation they must answer to seperately, in sequence to aforementioned charges.

 

 

To this snippet I question. The Lord Minister seems to be so far from the loop, my brother and cousin where serving the Crows Regiment. In what case is defending Orenia against rebels considered illegal, furthermore when where these two kinsmen robbing and murdering?

 

 

 The baseborn and ill-blooded Ivan Barrow is officially censured and instructed never to style himself as Carrion, to be promised a fate similar to Corbett’s should he continue doing so. Godferik Carrion is stripped of his name and henceforth disowned fully and ultimately, to be known as Godferik Barrow, so that he may never again represent his family in a misguided manner unless absolved by a formal act of pardon.

 

 

Unfortunately the Lord Minister does not have the right to remove Carrions from their house. That lays in the sole right of the Lord Patriarch, whom is the leader and elder of House Carrion. From the above fact, we can relay that neither Ivan or Godferik is removed from the Carrion the dynasty.

 

However, I am a noble man; and carry reason with me. I will not go as far as to strain relations with my own family and Kingdom further, Ivan's questioned bastardy and legitimization will be discussed between the Lord Patriarch and the High Pontiff privately.

 

 

 

 It is known that the contempt for the judicial system and court proceedings these individuals possessed is what led to this attaintment. Their immunity to the law shall no longer be acknowledged and their ilk uprooted, so as to stabilize the realm.

 

 

 

Once again, an example that the Lord Minister has not left his quarters in some time. This act not only further destabilized the realm (which was the direct opposite of the Act) but it caused strain in the Royal House. The Lord Minister has not only crossed a line that I find to be 'to far' but he tred into insulting and downright offensive territory. As the Lord Patriarch of House Carrion I will not let my kin be disrespected in such a degree.

 

 

Clarification on the Lord Patriarch

 

 

The Lord Patriarch of House Carrion, also known as the Borsa Carrion is the head of the House. Elected by his kin, Paul Ostrovic Carrion is the current Patriarch.

 

The Patriarch is tasked with a handful of duties, some of which I will detail and others I will leave up to interpretation.

 

The Patriarch is entrusted with arranging Marriages for the Royal House, Organization and Commanding the Crows Regiment, Discussing the legitimization of Bastards with the High Pontiff, Royal Advisory, and control over Disinheritance within the House of Carrion.

 

We will once again note that the Patriarch is elected by a tanist vote within the House of Carrion, upon the death of the previous Patriarch.
