What is roleplaying?: Stepping into the shoes, and immersing yourself in the life, or undeath, of a character of your creation, acting, thinking, and living like they would. or rather like they do.

What is metagaming?:Making use of knowledge gained or deduced outside of RP or IC, such as a friend telling you about their character getting stabbed in the leg, and then having your character notice a limp that they hadn't revealed IC.

What is powergaming?:Something I try to avoid -.- but to be more specific, it is the act of "forcing" role-play, not giving your RP partner a chance to reply properly, such as backhanding someone rather then attempting to backhand someone.

 

In-Character Information

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):Found as little more than a newborn by a wealthy, elderly human couple taking a walk through their private garden, they searched the grounds and the city of Malinor, the couples house being on the outskirts of the city. Becoming increasingly worried about what they would do if they couldn't find the true parents, or parent of this pale skinned child with pink eyes and a black blanket......eventually they decided to take it upon themselves, and took him under their wing, somewhat looking forward to it as they'd yet to have a child, as the woman was barren, much to their grief. As the boy grew his startling intelligence and..."Eccentric" personality revealed themselves rather quickly, the child always giggling at the misfortune of servants, animals and his parents alike, though he always apologized shyly for the latter......at the age of five he taught himself  how to although he couldn't read everything, he could read somethings such as titles to some books, and some simple words startling his adoptive mother when she tried to sit him down on her lap to read him a story when he squinted and read the title aloud before smiling and telling her it sounded nice. At the age of six it became rather obvious that no one would suspect the darling child of being male, his hair, skin and voice softer than even most other little girls his age, his large pink eyes are adorable pillowy lips denying his true gender even further.....even his frame being remarkably slight for a boy his age, even an elf.......and as he didn't seem to mind the pair never corrected those guests, meaning all of them, Who assumed him to be female.....two years later his love of the mechanical manifested with a fury, locking himself in his room for hours at a time, often times being up the next morning when his parents came to wake him, tinkering, studying, researching all things mechanized.....his obsession made his parents worry somewhat though they knew he was a bright child and left him alone. At ten he regularly wore skirts, dresses, bows & ribbons, making his parents chuckle as they weren't worried in the slightest....if he wanted to dress as a girl he could. not as if it could bring any embarrassment to them anyways, considering that not a single person had assumed he was a boy in his lifetime...at the age of twelve he truly did give them a shock, walking in with bright, turquoise/blue hair and announcing his didn't like girls, before smiling and walking out with a hop in his step......On his 18nth Birthday his adoptive parents, the ones who had raised him like their own child for his entire life passed away with a smile on their lips, happy to see him grow into the beautiful child he was now......as they slipped away though he didn't cry, but simply smiled, happy to see them happy on his birthday.....and decided to honor them by keeping the house well, banishing the servants and keeping it clean on his own in the years to come....he stayed in that mansion for the next 60 years of his life, the halls, the empty rooms, even the kitchen and dinning room eventually filling with his many creations, machines made for no other reason than to sate the young inventors curiosity, his formerly bright blue hair faded, permanently stained from the constant redyes until he forgot about it.....but eventually....he grew bored....he didn't have any more inspiration, as imaginative and brilliant as the lone artist was, he was too bored to continue.....and it was that realization that spurred him to leave his home for the past 72 years, packing only a pouch filled with various clothes, both male and female, and a book filled with past designs, drawings, and his only memories of the ones who raised him.He now wanders Athera searching for someone to befriend, he's searched the Elven

state of Laureh'lin but to no avail. He's wandered into the dwarven capital of Kal'Arkon and befriended a few dwarfs, but soon realized he had nothing in common with them, and left. A few years later he visited the Oren lands, and now spends most of his times there.

 

Personality Traits:Intelligent, calculative, inventive, cruel and sadistic, Prideful and vain, temperamental at times but usually in a "smiley" mood. Rather childish at times and hates to lose, very eccentric, with an attitude usually described as mirthful or childlike/childish, Though despite these traits he can be rather shy at times, but also rather curious.....on top of this he's rather arrogant, arguably with good reason, spoiled and bratty at times, but capable of displaying surprising maturity, though should not exactly be trusted with making important decisions. Has an odd, probably unhealthy, fascination bordering on obsession, with  all things mechanical. Bipolar. Adores the color pink, as well as any other bright colors. Loves explosions. Enjoys chess. Unphased by death.

Ambitions:He has little care nor ambition to do anything in particular besides create. The only thing that matters to him are his creations, going from Mirthful to vicious in an instant if they're threatened.

Strengths/Talents: Brilliant engineer/tinker, easily matching trained engineers of dwarven and goblin society, though his eccentric nature and possible lack of sanity cause his mechanations to explode occasionally. One of his specific weaknesses is his over attatchment to his creations, becoming incredibly protective of them when they're threatened, though in some situations this can become a strength as it will encourage him to fight far harder than any attacker would expect. Gifted strategist, though has little care for true strategy in battle, prefering games of thought such as chess. Very slightly built, more petite than most women, which along with his youthful, and rather feminine appearance, causes most to not take him too seriously, and even take "advantage" of him depending on the kind of person they are.....suffers from occasional head aches, often times from lack of sleep and food. Physically weak, unable to lift anything weightier then a heavy weapon such as an axe or a longsword, though he's  remarkably quick, capable of avoiding most attacks from an attacker, even dodging arrows he sees, or hears coming. Decent archer though mostly due to his gift for calculation, predicting the arc and trajectory of any projectiles, even an enemies with relative ease.

Weaknesses/Inabilities:^^^^ (Explained Above)

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight):Looks a tad younger than most high elves, more inbetween the sixteen and nineteen range of appearance. Redish pink eyes, though not enough red to guarantee dark elf heritage. Intense turquoise/blue hair, very soft, even silk like to the touch, natural hair color unknown as its always dyed, to the point where even if it's washed out his hair will simply become a more faded blue as its become permanently stained. Very pale, very slender frame with rather narrow shoulders and slightly wider hips in comparison to another male his size, along with androgynous, if not rather feminine features, causing many to assume he's female, though those who look past base appearances will likely be able to see the truth.

Sorry, but upon receiving the opinion of another AT team member, I have to deny this.

The full reasoning is below:

How did he get into tinkering? This is never explained

Why were there skirts dresses bows and ribbons in the home that he could wear? there are no other children?

Why would human parents be alright with this, humansare typically non-accepting about this sort of things.

Aswell accepting that he's homosexual.

WHy did both parents die at the same time, this does not happen often. 

It's very cliche that they died on his birthday aswell.

If he lived by Malinor other elves would quickly adopt him, as 18 years old is not an adult by elven standards.

Cleaning an entire manor- that required servants- would take all of his time.

His hair would not stain from the dye, it would grow out in its natural color.

Your only server lore is breif mentions of towns- and the first is not even correct.

 

Personality

Many of your personality traits are odd. You never mention being 'bipolar' in your biography, nor do you mention him being cruel. Being cruel. 

You say he's spoiled and bratty but then go and say he can be mature- these are vastly different traits. 

One would think he would learn some humility living 60 years without his parents to get him things.

As the previous AT said, being unphased by death is very cliche.

 

Strengths/Talents

You cannot be such a master at something in your application, What fun is it if there is not room to improve.

Especially as he seems to have done this with no teacher.

How is he a giffted strategist, and how can he fight? There is no mention of training to fight.

One cannot simply dodge arrows they 'see or hear coming' without ease.

I feel like you've not learned that powergaming can also be dodging attacks repeatedly when it is illogical.

 

Appearance

Any hint of red in the eyes is a 100% sign of having darkelven heritage. 

Natural hair color has ways of peeking out, even if his hair was white he'd have to dye his hair almost every day to keep it from showing.

Also, it would not give his hair a soft of silky feeling, dying your hair damanges it. You cannot rp having amazingly dyed hair without the drawbacks of dyed hair- especially in a day and age where hairdye would not be the quality it is today.
