What’s the rule you agree with the most?: No pornographic roleplay, I think it's disgusting when people get off to having their pixelated characters get funky. That's just weird. And very sad.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Not a single one!

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Youtube, some LP vids.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of inserting ones own character(whether it be simply incarnate of ones self) into a fictional environment and mingle and interact with the various elements and aspects of said environment/realm in order to create an elaborate and continuously building a story which others can enjoy.

 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using outside sources or third-person communication devices to gain knowledge unbeknownst to your character, and using that knowledge to benefit you in battles or, in-general, roleplay. This can lead to a ban, and for that I plan to limit Skype, TeamSpeak, and other such devices in order to better my experience on this server and everyone elses.

 

What is powergaming?: Power-gaming is forcing ones actions on another player. This definition is not to be mixed with god-moding, or playing as an overpowered character. Such roleplay CAN be done well, I know. However, power-gaming is deliberately manipulating other characters into situations and impressing a physical effect on their character that is not possible by your character. 

 

An example of this would be a knight slicing through another knight's torso and slicing completely through him, severing the top half of his body from his lower half. This entails a one-hit kill, which though the knight landed a good hit, it is not 

reasonable to cut through him completely. 

 

If I may, another example: "Tyrone jumps into the air and punches Yuri in the face, making Yuri fall on his behind."

-This is only ONE emote, yet Tyrone is manipulating Yuri's character by using this emote in order to benefit him in this battle, and not Yuri. This is power-gaming because it doesn't GIVE THE OTHER PLAYER A CHANCE TO RESPOND To AN ACTION.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

    Born in Malinor on the continent of Anthos, Hatneus Pelen lived a fairly simple life under the protection of his father, mother, and brother. Hatneus, of course, like other mali, feared constant outside threats from orcs, humans, and other threats. When the human's attempted to conquer Malinor, Hatneus was young, but he remembered the siege. The battering of the Elder tree walls by boulders, the human mercenaries and Orenian army hoping to kill as many Elven kind as they could in order to beat them into submission, the mercenaries and Orcs -- amazingly -- that HELPED the Elves defend their city. It was a horrible battle which resulted in countless deaths, including the death of his brother, Pern, who was too young to die, especially for an elf. Such harassment angered Hatneus, but as an elf he realized he must retain his composure and not snap. Though his mother and father grieved, Hatneus held a fire inside him, a fire of desire that compelled him to fight. 

 

    A few years after the battle, and after have trained by himself with a bow, as is customary for his people, Hatneus became proud of himself for his dedication, and still in his heart felt the need to battle. He knew his time would come eventually. After the threats from the Order of the White Rose persisted somewhat, though with no actual declaration of war, he felt somewhat empty. When he realized that his chance for battle would not come, he blended in with the rest of the mundane elves, hoping to use his skill eventually to become a soldier and serve the Mali nation. For years and years, he has waited, until coming to Athera. With this new movement, he has decided to become "re-born" in a way, and rise up from his dwelling, to take on this new continent and serve the new Elven nation.

 

 

Personality Traits: Quiet, he tends to want to speak up when the time comes and give his mind, but over time he has realized that whenever he does say something, it is either ignored or it doesn't really contribute, thus leading him to believe that it's better if he stay quiet a majority of the time.

 

Ambitions: Become a soldier or guard, devote his life to the safety of Elven-kind and ensure that the race lasts. Protect.

Strengths/Talents: Very good at following orders, and dedicated to the rejuvenation and survival of the Elven race. He will fight with his people till the end. His hearing is also quite keen. 

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: As an elf, he may be swift, but a good hit to the ribs or a certain amount of blunt force could easily cripple him, especially if delivered by one of the other four races(Kha, Orc, Human, Dwarf). His speed is beneficial to his fighting style, but when cornered or surrounded, he is as good as done.

 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Dark green eyes, fair skin, on the lighter side. 6'3", 145 lbs, thin frame.
