A letter is hung around the Kal Karaad,

Dear Citiztens of Kal Karaad,

"I, Lilum Irongut, have been temporarily put in charge of the Workforce by our Grand King until he and the Thane's council can vote upon a new leader. Until then, I wish to state my case and show what I plan to do if I maintain this position. In this letter, I will state my ideas, including living, wages, jobs, and other things, here they are:

Location:

The location of the Workforce hall has not been properly made, or has even been made. There is currently no dropbox for workers to, well, drop off the supplies they gather. I propose that the location be built within the new level of the Kingdom once it is complete, and be among one of the first things to be started once they layout has been completed.

Living Quarters:

Currently, those who join the Workforce have the ability to trade their taxes for supplying the Kingdom, with the addition of the main hall of the Workforce, the building of decent sized living quarters within the hall should be made. This is so that more normal homes can be freed up and perhaps be bought by others to expand their own home. Those part of the workforce could still buy homes or keep their current ones outside of the hall, but they would have to pay the normal taxes of the Kingdom.

Wages:
Ever since joining the workforce, I have yet to be given my wages for completing my tasks. I plan to get in talks with the Grand Merchant or the King to supply me with the minas necessary to pay everyone.

For the joining fee and first supply run done:

300 Minas

For normal jobs:

200 Minas

Jobs:

With me properly in-charge, these would be the listings of available jobs to partake in:

Miner: Mine for cobble and ore and distributing it to the Smiths and Stone Masons

Smith: Preparing the ores and minerals and creating armor and weapons for the Legion and the Legion only, and may distribute it to the Enchanter

Stonemason: Those in charge of creating stone materials and distributing them for the Kingdom

Harvester: Growing the food for the Kingdom and maintaining the farms, along with distributing to the Cooks

Cook: In charge of preparing and distributing the food to the Kingdom

Lumberjack: Chopping and distributing wood to the Woodworker

Woodworker: Taking collected refined and unrefined wood and distributing both throughout the kingdom. The refined wood would be kept to be made into other materials to be made and then distributed to the Kingdom.

Rancher: Finding and raising farm animals, along with distributing leather, wool, and meat to their respective workers (Leatherworker, Cook)

Leatherworker: Taking and creating leather materials and then distributing to Smiths or the Kingdom

Alchemist: In charge of maintaining the Alchemist's workstations and creating potions for the Kingdom and distributing them.

Enchanter: In charge of enchanting armor and weapons, among other things from the Kingdom.

Fisherman: Sitting around all day collecting fish and other things they find in the great sea or simple pond, whatever they find is distributed within the Kingdom or other jobs

Note:

Citizens may be able to sign up for more than one job, but no more than three. Those who take on more than one job will receive the same pay as they would with doing one job.

Other Job:

Within the Kingdom, there may be a few jobs others may not have the time to get to. Those that do fall under this and no other jobs, would be known as Freelancers.

Freelancers: Those that can choose what jobs they wish to do that do not fall under any of the previous jobs, they are both tipped and payed a wage of 150 minas

Anyone can apply to be a Freelancer, and does not fall under the three job rule limit now.

Post-War Renovators: This is a position that all those who join the Workforce must be part of, this job entails cleaning the Capital if war comes to us, it would be our job to clean and rebuilt fortifications and the land around the Kingdom

Post-War Renovators receive no pay.

Control of The Noticeboard:

I would ask that, if made the leader of the Workforce, I have full control of the noticeboard. Everyone besides the King and Marshal may also freely control the board. Citizens and Thanes may not touch it without a permit, which would cost a simple 20 minas.

These are some of things that I would put into effect as the leader of the Workforce, so hopefully in the next Thane meeting, I would be put into a permanent position here.

Thank you all for reading, and may the Stone protect us.

                              ~Signed,

                                                               Lilum "Lily" Irongut
