What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is changing your behavior to either match a given situation or to create a new persona that will fit in with the given lore. For example, I decide that I want to play in a minecraft server that ohhh let’s say is based around a lore that is similar to that of Lord of the Rings. Now I wouldn’t go around pretending I’m some sort of Communist under the command of Michael Gorbachev because that would be quite poor roleplaying. I would more likely to behave as an elf or human of sorts who has at least some knowledge of the history and current situations of the Kingdoms.

What is metagaming?: This is using “out of character” knowledge while you are “in character” which essentially erodes at the role playing experience. This would for example you see someone in game that you saw post on the forums the other day. You didn’t like their response on the forums so you decide to kill them for that reason alone. Which destroys the roleplaying experience because it was not separated form OOC knowledge.

What is powergaming?: Giving other’s no chance of actual role-play, or forcing a desired set of actions onto another in an unrealistic manner. This was for example pretending that you are let’s say an immortal and omnipotent being in any roleplaying game. Now as “God” you decide that you don’t like a certain group of people so without them being able to do anything you say “The skies open up and a giant Panda Bear lands on the Kingdom of the Dwarves killing everything in sight”. Now this ruins the fun for all the Dwarves cause now they’re all deadL.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Young Castle was born into a world of devastation, war, and hate. His family leaved near the city of Kingston, while quite unfortunately were not inside the city walls. Though being too young to remember or understand the conflicts occurring around him, he was not sparred the tragic events during this unstable time in Human history. His parents were peace loving people, and self-taught to read literature. His parents passed on this love to young Castle who was frequently read stories such as The Ghost of the Singing Maiden and A Letter from Arcadius. From these literature and his parents Castle developed a love for every living being. But his happy and loving life was not to last, for during the First World War of Anthos, his parents were slaughtered by Dwarves who came to avenge their fallen brother. The childish Castle only narrowly escaped death by outrunning a dwarf, who was admittedly a little tipsy during the invasion due to some early pillaging. Unlike most who devoleped a hatred for the races who were responsible for the death of his parents, Castle decided to fulfill what his parents would have wanted him to do. He left Kingston shortly before the Orcs invaded and toke over the city, one of many events in his life that will push him to his current whereabouts. He decided that he should join the Church of Cannon in order to avoid such horid disasters and hopefully spread joy and hope through the word of God. Though it would not last. His love of the church left with Blessed High Ecclesiarch Radomir I's abdication of position. The young castle was devestated that his idol was unable to do right by God in his glorious cruscade. This may have been tolerable had it not been for the following Pontiff's, who to Castle, lacked the purity and virtue needed to expand the Church and it's values. High Pontiff Regulus I was the breaking point between Castle and the Church. The regulations and the massacres that followed his reign were too haunting to Castle. Bringing back pianful memories of hate and intolerance that he would much hope believe were untrue. The Franciscian Massacre was a turning point in his life. He revoked his vowes and set off into the lands looking for an answer. One that would save Humanity from their own evil. All through the journey from Anthos to Athera, Castle searched, wondering from town to town, all throughout the land looking for an answer, for someone to lead the way.

At first this proved to be difficult as there was so much destruction and chaos during the times of The Fringe, forcing Castle to always travel in caution and attempting to stay out of the large cities and away from most of the population. But one day when he awoke in the woods he opened his eyes but saw nothing. He found a discarded tunic atop his head preventing his vision, though in reality it was actually his own undershirt which was pulled up over his face allowing a couple of passerby's to rob him of his valuables, which unfortunately for them he had none. This was the answer he was looking for. He came to the idea that in order to improve the lives and happiness of all in the lands was to create a religion based in lies or as he calls “foma” to blind everyone to all atrocities, evoking happiness in all who believe in the lies. And so started his journey, in dedication to his efforts he renamed himself Bokonon and created Bokononism. The name he thought was a playful irony. As he derived the name from Book, due to his reading of The Destruction of Aegis as the book focused quite heavily on evil being the destruction of the original continent by the undead. A topic Bokonon hoped his religion would blind everyone to, giving a sense of security albeit false but nonetheless a joyfull one. Now he travels the lands, spreading his lies in the name of happiness and peace. Though many may not agree with his efforts, especially those dedicated to the Church as Bokonon once was, he is quite skilled in the art of persuasion and if the situation become too dangerous he was always has a friend or two nearby to help him if need be. He continues his journeys and always will until the day he dies, writing stories and poems or as he calls them “Calypso’s” to spread love and peace throughout the races. He circles from village to village looking for new followers. Yet all the villages he's had any success in are no longer. His favorite being Polaris, which was inhabited by a few interesting folk at least when Bokonon first visited. Now there is no one, leaving Bokonon to question if they left or if they ever actually existed.

Personality Traits: Loving, kind, persuasive and empathetic. All traits that were developed from his parents loving and kind nature.

Ambitions: To someday create a world filled with contented people and love through his religion based on harmless lies that would make any believer lead a happier life.

Strengths/Talents: He is quite talented with language to sway most he speaks to. He developed this mastery over language through years of studying literature and now uses his skills to empower the effects of Bokononism in order to bring peace to all the nations.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He will not fight no matter what the situation is, and is incredibly passive.
