Within a gated cavern, many footsteps and slithers can be heard from the depths below, deeper down, one might hear the crackling flames eat at the wooden pyres as a figure in robes passes, the robes a purple tone, with white trim. In this cavern of sorts, the figure seems to nod to those she passes, wearing the same as herself. Looking up as she opens the large wooden door, passing by quickly as the doors slam shut.

More flames are off to the side as she reaches an altar, instead of prayer, she extends her hands upwards and sits upon it. The many gather after a short period of time, the woman’s eyes gaze across the huddled masses, and she finally speaks

“It is time, the day of awakening, we are to gather new allies in this changed world above, we are to prepare, for a fight, and for a second era of the name.” she says as the pyres dim down, the crackling scarce now as she stands, raising her palms



The masses raise their heads, extending a hand forward to another on the other side, they chant the words a few times until the woman before the altar speaks once more.
 

 
Once again they chant, the flames behind them picking up slowly as the woman before them speaks in a much louder tone.



The gathered rise, displaying prizes of their hunts, from Elven ears, to tusks, each race seems to have a body part visible.
 

 
The gathered throw their prizes to the floor as a large gate slams open, hissing and slithering heard as a mass of serpents crawl from below the altar, moving their way towards the prizes, eating what can be eaten, and leaving what can not be digested.
