Out-Of-Character Information

Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication!

What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: TheCommonTeen

How old are you?: Just about to be 15.

Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Well, I guess now I do!

Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): No.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Of course! In fact I'm grateful that you guys established them. This is what separates the server from others that have random, annoying kids on them.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Well if I had to chose, It would probably be the prohibition of both Metagaming and Powergaming. Those two concepts definitely ruin any Role Play experience.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Nope!

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I was simply looking for a good Role Play server on YouTube with authority that would guarantee a real Role Play atmosphere.

Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is taking control of the actions of a fictional character in an environment surrounded with other players and situations to interact with.

What is metagaming?: I'm sorry if this is to much, but I really want to get in! OOC stands for out of character, and IC stands for in character. Now, Metagaming is if you were to use out of character information and apply it in character. Basically, anything that your character isn't able to do, such as tell where someone is just by clicking on them, you shouldn't do. That's an ability that would take you out of character, thus, ruining the fair Role Playing experience.

What is powergaming?:  Powergaming is if you were to force an instant situation onto a player, not allowing them to freely respond to the situation. Role Play is supposed to create an environment with countless situations to react to. By taking away someones ability to react to a situation, such as instantly killing someone instantly without giving them a warning, you are Powergaming.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

The streets were certainly no place for a child to live, but that wasn't his decision. Growing up in the pitiful slums of a city, the forsaken region of hell, he found himself only able to witness the run-down side of the cruel world. Having no role or impact in society, It would not be a surprise for him to end it all with the broken shards of glass he would find carelessly scattered around the city. It artlessly would not matter if he decided to spare himself or not. However, he has never arrived to that point of misery. Countless times he has been broken down and stripped of the living emotions he possessed, only for him to adapt, evolve, and overcome to the cruel world he was living. Over years of struggling, he progressively gained the ability to run faster than all elves. His speed greatly benefited him, but his adaptations did not stop there. In addition, he gained the power to gather every piece of information surrounding him, allowing the use of information as an advantage towards his opponents. He learned to observe the world as a game of choice making; chose a bad choice and you die, choose a good choice and more problems to decide on will arrive. It was only this understanding of this game that has kept him alive. His fighting lacked skill, and he solely relied on the concept of positioning, choice making, observation, and evaluation.

It wasn't until 18 years of him living off the scraps of citizens that he snuck onto a wealthy looking ship with a destination as unknown as the meaning to life. He could care less as to where the ship would be journeying. In fact, his only hope was that wherever he was being taken, the people would be much more careless for him to dominate. He has mastered the lifestyle of skimming off the remains of the idiotic people, and was hungry for more opportunities to toy with "intelligent" lifeforms. After 3 months of an eternal voyage filled with the living creatures he despised the most, he arrived to an interesting city, one which reeked the smell of carelessness and unawareness. He slowly stepped off the boat, pale, and emotionless as a rock as the desperate immigrants cut around him like a stream of water."What could they possibly be anxious for? Do they honestly believe there will be opportunity in this new world? Are people honestly this gullible?" He smiled. He started to grin even. It was the first time he has experienced a desire, a  desire to mess with the people of this new world that was far to extreme to actually make him grin. "Hey you!...Stop right there!" The boy grinning immediately stopped. He effortlessly turned his head around, only to find a man full of self confidence and useless power. He was unaware of how easily the boy could vanish, and he walked up to him as if he were trying to frighten him by his meaningless height. "Whats your name son?" The boy hesitated while preserving his blank, energy conserving face. He has never needed a name before, and he didn't plan on making one. "Kirosan," he replied. The name appeared out of no where. He could have effortlessly left the man, avoiding the whole situation, but instead he has chosen the path that has led him to creating a name. "Let me see your passport," the man demanded in a semi-irritated tone. Kirosan, still half dead in expression, slowly elevated his chin to where their eyes were staring directly into each others souls. The boy was not threatened. The only thing he wondered was how he was going to knock the man out without the civilians watching. He slowly extended his slim, fragile arms towards the man. While looking strait into his eyes, he placed a grin on his face. "Arrest me." He was enjoying the city far to much already.

Personality Traits: Due to his history, he is a complete, emotionless, energy conserving creature. His facial expression stays the same as there are no feelings that would correspond to a need in a change of face.

Ambitions: A strong desire to manipulate the people of the new world. Constantly seeks dominance over those who are filled with confidence.

Strengths/Talents: Smart, intelligent, and logical. He never takes on fights with a low winning rate. He's very fast on his feet and uses his mobility and swiftness to strategically place himself in positions where he has to upper hand. He knows when to retreat and avoid difficult situations. He carefully observes every situation to choose the most efficient choice before engaging. Views everyone as potential threats. He strays away from gaining skills in combat and relies on working with the decisions giving in a situation. He loves to use things to his advantage, such as the simple things like the environment.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He struggles at creating bonds with allies. Being seen by the authorities, he easily comes off as a criminal up to no good. His risk of committing suicide is high due to his belief of his lack of purpose in society. He grew up without experiencing emotion, and tends to make decisions based off what the plain outcome will be instead of doing what he feels is right.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Dark, lush hair that stops around shoulder level. Dark red eyes that almost come off to be brown. Skin is very pale and grayish, as if he's a suffocating human. Face is always expressionless. Very thin body that appears to be fragile. Weights 120 pounds.

Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here):

-Your powergaming definition is a fair bit off, as powergaming can be alot more than simply not allowing someone to defend themselves (though that is a form of powergaming.)

-Your character's biography includes no server lore. Server lore can be found on the wiki. (of which there is a tab for above.)

-Your not allowed to commit villainous actions, or be a villainous character in your application biography.

-A biography should be rather simple in saying where the character came from, and what he did in life. Yet, your biography answers neither. As you only explain him having a childhood in the streets of an unnamed city (with no note of what happened to his parents or how he ended up in the streets in the first place.) without note of how on earth he survived in what you describe as complete poverty.

-18 is counted as a child to elves (though reaching physical maturity at 18, they're counted as children untill age 50.) so I would suggest you have your character be older.

-You may re-apply in 24 hours.

-Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions.
