Skill Bug

I was mining and then I finally hit Adequate Miner after hours upon hours of work. Then I go to set my skills and when I do it resets all of my skills, including the ones I set, back to zero. I now am Inept everything that isn't miner blacksmith and woodworker. And it reset miner to clumsy, even though I set it as secondary. Is there any way I can get my skill level back, or am I going to have to grind for 10 more hours mining stone to get back up to adequate. The bug just seems to reset everything.

*Edit* Whenever your skills are inept as I just tested, you can't increase them, and you can't do any of the skills that you are inept in. So whenever I go to chop down a tree I don't get logs. And whenever I go to harvest wheat I get nothing at all not even seeds. All of the skills were made inept except three. And even my secondary was reset. Which was mining.

Unfortunately that's not a bug, that's just skills.

Though with the 1.8 update coming soontm things are a little smoother. v.v

I want to murder one thousand babies.

I literally can't do anything, I have no idea how I am supposed to get food now. And it reset my mining skill even though it was my secondary.

Pause and rewind, you set mining as your secondary skill and it still reset it?

You can clear your professions by re-typing in the command that set them. Ex: /sk (skill) select main/second/bonus

Otherwise, with no professions you can go up to a max in adequate with every skill as a non-human, with one profession it knocks them all to clumsy and a second causes them to all go down to inept. To reset main and second professions refer to the above. Any professions chosen will have the adequate max lifted to the max of Aengulic on the professions chosen, allowing you to do better within that craft and allowing you to continue training the skill through the nexus crafting plugin. Selecting a profession will drop the skill of anything not that profession due to the max of each skill being dropped, and the one being raised. (I believe this is what you were referring to when you went to set your mining as your secondary, but the skill was lost due to you already choosing a main skill and your secondary was set to clumsy in the process.)

I think I get what you're saying now, and that's a little weird. I'll see if that's still a bug on the test server and sic Kowa on it if it is.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Edit: I can recreate it. That is a bit weird, I'll let the techs know.

Ahh okay thanks for the help. But I don't understand why It knocked my mining down to clumsy even though it was my secondary.
