What’s the rule you agree with the most?: "Both sides must agree to either Text-Based or Mechanics based combat". I have role played on a  variety of different servers and this rule is something that I always look for. I like this rule so much because it allows the players involved in the combat scenario to pick a situation that best applies to both of them. Meaning they enter the role play in a positive frame of mind which can ultimately lead to a much smoother RP.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? Its always been known for having such a large player base so I thought i'd come and check it out.

What is roleplaying?: Putting yourself in the position of a character or situation that is then acted out. 

 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using informatio that was aquired Out Of Character and then using in In Character for your own advantage. 

 

What is powergaming?: Power gaming is forcing an action onto your opponent or abusing a characters power whilst ignoring another's.

Character’s name: Charlie "James" Jacobs

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

Charlie "James" Jacobs is a through and through Heartlander born into the Kingdom of Oren. Growing up in Petrus provided Charlie with a true humanitarian view of the world. Dreading the idea of a violent life, he made most of his small living working a tavern. Twas not difficult work for Charlie but it was rewarding. Through this job he has learnt to appreciate the different tales that all travelers have. This little bit of admiration set the grounds for his views on how to approach different people. Having the skill to talk to another was in Charlie's mind, "A lot more valuable than knowing how to swing a sword". 

 

He has not had a difficult life but more of a busy life. He knows the true value of hard work and understands why short cuts should never be used when it comes to a job. These simple skills may seem redundant to many, but for Charlie they have helped to shape the person that he is today. Not many people in the Kingdom of Oren are willing to sit down and talk about a problem. This is what makes Charlie seem unique in a crowd of people. 

 

Personality Traits: Very compassionate and loving person. He is very quiet and prefers to listen to a conversation rather than be the center of attention. He is a kindred soul and only wishes to help people. 

 

Ambitions: Wants to help teach other people valuable humanitarian skills and help to deter from violence. 

 

Strengths/Talents: Due to his frail appearance he should not be deemed as a dangerous person. This allows him to sport a trust worthy appearance. His compassion for people allows him to feel empathy for them which ultimately leads to him helping many other people. 

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: His frailty means that combat should always be avoided. He does not have the strength required to lift heavy weapons and cannot support himself in armor. His older age can often lead to a weakening of his senses and sometimes hearing things can be difficult. 

 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Charlie is a short and tired gentlemen around 5'8. His skin is very wrinkled and due to a lot of exposure to the sun, his skin appears cracked and tanned. He is not a heavy man and appears a little under weight.
