What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the idea of creating a specific role for yourself to live out in character and interact with others in the world based on traits and personality of that said character. What is metagaming?: Using outside knowledge or to gain advantages or information that is not within the confines of the server. What is powergaming?: Focusing more on the strength and power of your character, rather than your characters personality and way of life. In-Character Information Character’s name: Sedo Dalakis Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human (Heartlander) Character’s age: 25 Biography: Sedo Dalakis was born into a small, middle class family. His father Sato Dalakis, served as a sergeant in the Renatus army, and fought and died bravely during the fall of Kaer Angren, his mother Charlotte and the other lucky refugees who could make it out of the city, fled to the city of Petrus in the Kingdom of Akovia. A short 4 years passed and the Kingdom of Akovia reformed the Kingdom of Oren, and Sedo, being very eager to follow in his father’s footsteps of the life of a soldier, enlisted in the army of Oren. His father, being a devoted and experienced soldier, taught Sedo at a young age the art of war, tactics and fighting skills. He quickly applied these early life lessons in his military career and was a locally renowned soldier. Though the popularity amongst the townsfolk and fellow comrades was satisfying, deep down Sedo had a deep desire building woudning him after the death of his father, vengeance. Throughout his young adult life he absolutely despised the Undead servants of Iblees, and anything evil that would terrorize the good and innocent. One night, in an act of intoxicated rage, got into a bar fight with a sergeant in the army and severely injured him. Seen as an act of assault against a higher ranking man, he was exiled from Pentrus and cast into the wilderness on the outskirts of the realm. Feeling free and independent of military life, he decided to venture out into the lands of Athera and fight the evil beings of the land how he saw fit. Personality Traits: Vengeful, just, and disciplined Ambitions: To seek out and eliminate followers of Iblees and any evil creatures in general. Strengths/Talents: Swordsmanship, leadership, well-disciplined and follows orders efficiently. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Hot-headed, somewhat stubborn Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Averages around a height of 5’11, and weighs about 160-170 pounds. Is quite muscular and well-built from military service, as well as being quite skinny. Lost sight in right eye due to a training accident as a young lad. It's when you do actions without giving the other person a chance to react to your action. Please wait for a GM to change you from wandering soul to a player of Athera!
