What’s the rule you agree with the most?: When you pvp, you cant just randomly stab a guy. You have to have a reason for stabbing said guy.

 

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied

for having a question on the rules): Not really, I see reason in all of them, more or less in others.

 

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Well, I found it while browsing through the web while trying to find out if any good RP servers are out, for all of my games, not this one. What made me write this white list application however, is its player base, and all of said player base following a ( rather large ) amount of rules. So thats what got me interested in this server in the 1st place

What is metagaming?: Where you attempt to maximize the amount of stat output in a characters actions by using knowledge from the other sources besides from the actual game and whats within it.

 

What is powergaming?: Playing to win, and having fun as a secondary objective.

 

In-Character Information

 

Character’s name: Alet

 

Character’s gender: Male

 

Character’s race: Ghost ( Human )

 

Character’s age: 15

 

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

Born in the woodlands of Anthus, Alet was a young boy, in the age of 13 when he set off onto a journey in his homeland, at least, what it was in the past. As the son of two aspiring, his parents told him to journey across Anthus, to unlock power within the void for 3 years. So, he set off in hope and with the blessings of his mother and father. However, on his 2nd year of his journey, he was smothered in his sleep, leaving no physical damage, and was robbed of his physical items, except his robes. He then laid dormant within the cloth he was smothered with, and stayed there, sleeping.

 

Fast forward to the age of Aethera, where some how that same cloth laid dormant was now held by a cleric, currently attempting to burn it in a fire. As the cloth was burned, Alet was set free, and was pushed away from the cleric into a random brush. Mildly confused, Alet started to get up. He thought he just woke up from his sleep, and was thrown somewhere by a deviant of some sort. Thinking calmly, he started his journey once again, not knowing that he was in a different world, and more importantly, dead.

 

Personality Traits: Calm, calculating, and at times cold.

 

Ambitions: To finish his 3 year journey and make his parents proud.

 

Strengths/Talents: Has a decent knowledge of magic, able to act calm in many situations, very agile, can lie easily, can read quickly.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities:  Very bad at social interactions, and tends to panic when many people are around him. Prefers light armors, the heaviest he can go is chain, barely. 

 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): 5 foot 6. 95 pounds. Very lithe.

Unfortunately, I must deny this application. While it's apparent that you tried to engage with our lore, there are a number of major problems that mean your application must be denied.

 

For one, your powergaming and metagaming definitions are quite a ways off. We have a good page on our wiki that defines these quite well, which can be found here.

 

Equally important, you cannot apply as a ghost. Ghosts have quite particular lore, and we require that you apply as a character in one of the six main races (humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, kharajyr or halfings) without magic or any other special alterations. That's not to say you cannot pursue life as a ghost on the server, but it isn't something we want to see in your application.

 

Also, your character cannot be younger than 18 when applying.

 

Typically, for so few issues I'd place your application on pending rather than denying it, but I think it's best I deny you so you can fully edit your biography.
