Why is your character the way he/she is?  What has led them to a path requiring a Villain Application?:

Ragnar is an incredibly zealous Decurion of the order of Saint Amyas. He believes that the Canon religion is the only religion said to be correct and that those who say otherwise must be either converted or purged. Ragnar has been made this way due to his past betrayal from his pagan brothers, leading him to have a deep hatred for those who oppose the canonist religion and have there own set of Gods and virtues EG Druids.

 

 

 

 

What are his/her motives?  What do you plan to gain from this?:

Ragnars ambitions are to practically wipe out the rest of his Pagan brothers for their betrayal towards him, however to him justice is done if his past brothers convert from their pagan and 'evil' ways.

 

If he were to manage to completely convert his past brothers he would hope to achieve peace and salvation in doing so considering his deep hatred for them, he would also hope that doing this would be penance enough for his previous sins as a pagan thus granting him access to the 'Seven Skies'
 

 

 

 

 

What moral boundaries does your character have, if any?:

Ragnar has taken an oath to be part of the Order of Saint Amyas for the rest of his days, this means that he has to follow a particular creed, this includes;

 

 

I - The Virtue of Chivalry

 

Ragnar as an Order member will protect the weak and frail, and in combat will fight with the honor to bring down his foe without frivolity or twisted pleasure. Ragnar will demonstrate benevolence and charity by donating a fraction of his riches to the clergy or the downtrodden.

 

II - The Virtue of Piety

 

Ragnar will strive for purity, patience, chastity, and temperance. He will partake in regular sessions of worship, and will not use the name of the Holy Creator in vain. Ragnar will remain faithful to God and his teachings, and will not sway in his religion.

 

III - The Virtue of the Purge

 

Ragnar will not hesitate to cleanse wicked, unholy heretics by any means necessary, and will remember to make a lesson of all godless, unsanctified savages, be it by the sensible method of converting these sinful heretics into god-fearing men or burning them at the cross.

 

IV - The Virtue of Obedience

 

Ragnar will relay his commands when given orders by those above him, and follow his instructions with devoted loyalty. He shall not attack, or steal from a fellow Order member, and will not partake in petty, impractical skirmishes over senseless matters, displaying restraint.

A canonist fanatic/overly zealous Warrior.

-An elderly man with a walking stick(possibly a staff), a middle aged woman in a flowing dress, and a teenage boy with a sword hanging on his belt are walking down the road, with no others in sight that you can tell...

 

Ragnar would continue making his way down the road, his large two-handed battleaxe hauled over his right pauldron, he grinds his heels into the ground as he would move past them with purposeful dominance, his helmet would shadow out his gaze as his neck cranes to the boy in an ominous manner, his presence disturbing though he would continue to move forth, his surcoat flowing lightly behind him.

 

 

-You are about to head out of your house when someone starts pounding on your door frantically.  You open the door to see a human woman, dress half torn, a gash across her cheek bleeding, fear in her eyes as she begs you for help. Someone has just attacked her and her sister, killing the sister, and the girl barely getting away and losing him...

 

Ragnar would halt at the doorstep, his broad figure standing over her in a dominant fashion, his features would remain somewhat solid with no empathy to be seen, he speaks coldly to her "Who has done this?" as his digits tighten around the shaft of his Battleaxe, eager to perhaps initiate combat with someone..

 

 

-Sitting in a bakery, you hear two men talking in hushed voices upstairs. Sneaking up the stairs, you see a figure robed in black and a Guard. The robed figure is revealing plans to the Guard about an upcoming rebellion.  You can’t tell if the robed man is betraying the rebels, or if it is the Guard betraying the town...

 

Ragnar would rise instantly from his seat as he hears the conversation, his right digits heaving his two-handed battleaxe with him as he storms towards the presumably smaller man in black robes. He reaches out clad right digits to clasp at the back of the mans robes, turning to push him towards the wall with all force, his teeth grinding before he demands "Tell me vhat you speak of.."

 

 

-There is a knocking on your door, and when you open it there is an angry-looking man standing there, and a Olog standing behind him, eyeing you coldly.  The man tells you that you owe 1000 minas in taxes to the local Royals, and had best pay up...

 

Ragnar would give a frown as he sees the man, his jaw locking into place, his right hand would move outwards to clutch at the neck of his Battleaxe, he stands firm at the doorway, his oceanic gaze trailing to the Olog behind, no fear apparent in his expression, pulling the Axe towards his right and hilting it in the ground at his side. He speaks firmly and coldly "Tell me.. which King? There is only /one/ King that I support.."

 

 

-Two Guards are trying to break up a fight between your acquaintance and two Humans. Your friend slays one of the Guards as he approaches, causing the other Guard as well as the Humans to pull out their weapons...

 

Ragnar would stand firm as he sees the fight happen, assuming the acquaintance is a none-human he moves towards the Humans aid, his teeth grinding as he approaches the none-human, holding his Axe firm in both hands as he would approach him with obvious purpose, a growl could be heard coming form his throat.
