In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s name: Aust Kaeonn

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: Wood Elf

Character’s age: 49

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Aust was born into a family that took the Wood-Elven 'unspoken code' of live how you want to the extremes. The Kaeonn,  were a very.. free flowing family. The family had been around for many many years, though it was hardly known of, as they resided within the wilds, always moving about.

The original Kaeonn, a male wood-elf who's name was lost, had even taken the 'freeflowing lifestyle' so far that he began worshiping something, it isn't really described where he got the idea.. (Note: This is most definitely not an actual being.. Just one that the family believes in.) He began worshiping something he only ever referred to as 'The Maiden of Dreams and Ambitions.' Or 'The dreamer'.

The /worship/ of this being has been passed down the family since it's beginning many years ago, although it was never required, all of the man's descendants seemingly took to it without hesitation. The worship consisted of.. Well, Following your ambitions no matter what anyone tells you, if they're of good intent that is, taking dreams seriously, even the most ridiculous ones, and helping those who have been put down for their ambitions or for being 'different'. The only other requirement of the (fake) religion, was to protect the natural world and it's beauty, as it inspired dreamers all over the world to do great things.

Members of this family were always to find someone to love when the time came, but most importantly find someone who would accept the families beliefs and allow it to continue on within their child. Not many disagreed with the belief, as it was basically just a 'over enthusiastic' way to follow the wood-elven life-style. (This was just a bit of info on the family, I will actually do the character's bio now,  just put that info there so things made sense.)

Aust was of the third generation of the Kaeonn family, brought into the world by two loving parents. At this time, all but the original two Kaeonn lived, so that means the second generation and himself were all that was left. He, nor his parents knew what had happened to their predecessors, one day they just vanished. Aust was raised by his mother mostly, being the true-Kaeonn of his family, his father being a wood-elf that had come from a nearby town. His father was working most of the time, or hunting, but he did spend quite the bit of time with Aust as well.

Around when Aust was eleven, his mother had begun to teach him the history, and ways of their family. He learned everything, and generally liked the way it sounded. He was allowed to be free, like who he wanted, dislike who he wanted, do what he wished. He eagerly listened day after day as his mother explained. Everything was nice, and happy for him.

Everything was all well-and-good, they lived happily for a while, avoiding the war between the various elves that eventually led to Cerulin becoming an independent city. When this finally happened though, his parents made the decision to stay near the outskirts of Cerulin for their own safety, as the wilds seemed to be getting more and more dangerous. Aust was 29 at the time, though he decided to stay with his family for a while, and learn.

Soon, he was to set out from their home and seek out a druid that had known the family, to receive his training in druidism, as that was the path he had chosen. He was happy, living carefree with those that loved him.

But, that happiness was shattered.. On his thirtieth birthday  , the day he was to begin his studies, his mother and father had left their temporary home to get him a 'gift'. He nervously sat in their home, wondering what they possibly could have planned for him. Thinking over the possibilities, he didn't notice the time pass, sitting with glee on his bed as he waited.. And waited.. And waited..

After about two hours, it had begun to get dark, and Aust was beginning to get worried. Assuring himself that they were fine, he continued to wait.. But not for long. Eventually, the wordiness got the best of him, and he ran outside of their home, walking about the nearby woods, he searched for hours. Periodically returning to his home to make sure that his parents hadn't returned. Soon, his eyelids were heavy with tiredness, and a few rays of sun were shooting out over the horizon.

He willed himself to stay awake, but it was not such an easy task, he was not used to being awake for so long.. Assuring himself that sleeping and then continuing the search was better than looking longer and passing out, he returned home and slipped into bed. Despite being tired, it was not easy for him to sleep. But eventually he did..

He had a dream, waking up in some dark room, or what felt like a room. He wasn't sure, as everything around him was in darkness, aside from a 3ft circle of light that seemed to follow him as he moved. Taking a few steps, images began to pop onto the darkness, accompanied by words. They were all of his mother, some with his father in them. Though they had another thing in common.. Each one, was a memory of his, of his mother explaining that 'The first generation' vanished just before he was born.

These memories replayed for about a few minutes, before the dream spiraled off into a nightmare.. He forgets what happened in that nightmare, but when he woke up, it was nearly night once again. It was then that a thought came to his mind.. 'The first generation dissipated without a trace.. So have.. Mom and Dad..' It was then that he felt somehting inside him break, losing all hope of seeing his parents again.. He had had a dream about it, therefore it was really happening..

He remained in his home for a while, eating what little was left. Occasionally going out to look for his parents 'just in case',  but every time he didn't find them only served to fuel his underlying fear that he'd never see them again. Eventually, he gave up. He accepted the dream, and knew that he would never see them again.. He remained in the wilds for a long time, fending for himself with the basic skills that his father had taught him time to time. Avoiding people, staying away from most wildlife, and just surviving.. He would sometimes run into the nearby cities, nick some food, and run out, but not often.

One night, a long time after his parents had vanished, he had another dream. This time, he woke up in a room entirely different from where he had fallen asleep, it was a stark white room.. There were a few chairs, also white, and a table as well.. The only thing that stood out, was a green-haired woman, wearing a white-haired dress, standing in the far corner of the room. Aust recognized her as 'The Dreamer' from his teachings. He was about to move, and say something, but he realized he was unable to shortly after attempting.

The woman spoke in a soft, barely audible voice, " Follow your dreams. Don't give up. " And with that, he blacked out. When he awoke, it was day, and the birds were chirping within the forest. The dream stuck within his mind like a flare in a pitch black room.. 'Follow your Dreams'  He thought to himself.. He gave a nod, standing up to gather his things. 'I will. I think I get the message. Stop hiding.. do what I was taught to, and keep trying..' And so, Aust set out towards the nearest town.

(( OOC NOTE: First, no, he's not having visions. All the dreams were inspired by his own underlying thoughts, and are in no way related to any form of intervention. Second, 'The Dreamer' isn't real, it's just something his family had made up, and follows as a sort of guideline. The woman in the dream was what he imagined the woman to look like.))

Personality Traits: Erratic in his actions/decisions, free-floating, un-caring, random, and silly.

Ambitions: Restore the Kaeonn, and perhaps find his parents. All the while following 'The dreamer's' ways.

Strengths/Talents: He is rather quick on his feet, and his father had taught him how to use the bow, but not super-well.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He's not exactly.. very versed in melee combat. Also, his personality often makes him unreliable.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Green-Dyed hair, normally blonde, tied din knots and rather unkept. 5'4' is his height, dull green eyes, and several tattos of swirls about him.

Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here):
