What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is assuming the role of a certain entity or character and making decisions and actions based on how that certain entity or character would. 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using OOC information or otherwise information unknown to your character IC to further your goals or agenda.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is abusing the system to find ways to make things more advantageous for yourself or your friends.

Biography:

 Simon Ventorii as a highlander was second born to poor and humble family with four siblings, a father, and a mother, Simon wasn't payed the most amount of attention by the family. However as he grew up he learned to live with his position in life and became diligent in his tasks working hard to accomplish the tasks he was given around the farm. His father had always told the family stories of wars and heros from all ages. He told of how both of his uncles served as soldiers for Andrik Vydra Most of this seemed ridiculous to Simon, how could someone be so perfect, how could an event be so important. It was all lost on the poor boy. Upon reaching proper age, all Ventorii's were taught to fight by the head of the Family. Simon took a natural knack for it and practiced whenever the chance was given. He had always wanted to meet and find other races, and cultures. Simon's father put an end to this by telling him the long history and sentiment of the Ventorii family. And that his position in life was to serve another's purpose and be satisfied with simple life. "Leave the power-mongering to the nobility, and leave the adventure to the lost." he would say.  The Ventorii family farm was located near Dragon's Peak. As the Seat of House Horen.

 As Simon became a man he began to become bored with the confines of the home he had known for so long, he wasn't struck with wanderlust, more than he was with boredom. When he turned sixteen Simon's eldest brother left to join the army. It was his brother's intention to swear loyalty to House Horen and work at Dragon's Peak. With this Simon wandered if he could one day leave as well. After much debate with his parents, he would hold the ideals of his house on the road after he worked off his 'debt' to his father. His father told Simon he must labour three more years for him before he may leave the house with hopes of ever returning.  Simon buckled down and worked two and a half years for his father. His younger brother on an unfortunate day had tripped and fell upon a axe, splitting his spine in two. Simon's family was saddened by their heavy loss. Simon was not entirely affected himself, he began to question why he didn't feel so hard for his brother and why he never grieved as much as the others had. Simon's father the next week, permitted Simon to leave two seasons before expected. Thrilled and Lost Simon packed his things and hit the road, his eldest brother ran into him on his way back to the farm after his service in the military of the Kingdom of Oren. His eldest brother passed down his equipment, to Simon; aside from his sword, and returned home quickly to grieve for his younger brother. He had not heard the news until Simon informed him. 

 For the last two seasons Simon has been traveling east towards Petrus in hopes of finding work to occupy him, and to witness the cradle of humanity for himself. Taking odd jobs, seeing things, and indulging in simple pleasures. Jobs ranging from killing a pesty animal to eavesdropping. Simon has once more hit the road and wishes to live out his life to the fullest while his life is still his to live.

 

Personality Traits: Content, Brave, Patient, Wroth, Bad with words, Lacks Ambition, Diligent, and Mildly Cynical.

Ambitions: Wants to keep breathing and living out his life to the fullest before he dies. To see some nice sights along the way.

Strengths/Talents: Strong, Good with weapons, and Stealthy.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Has a very Holier than Thou attitude and is not fit to make friends with many. Very uncharismatic, most likely to be angered and quick to set off. Has a hard time setting goals. Recognizes his inability to make friends easily Simon is a shy introvert. 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He has black hair down to his shoulders, a clean face, with a sharp chin. He is 5'9 and weighs 176 lbs. He has pale skin. Face is mostly hidden by cloak.
