Of particular note was the creature that was on his knee on top of the hill. At first glance it seemed that he was on a hill but upon closer inspection you could see glimmers here and there from the armor of the dead Soldiers that had formed up to create the hill. In his right hand was a long Scythe like weapon, matching the figure's height at seven feet. Instead of having just one blade, the scythe had blades that were two feet long on one sides of the shaft and half a feet on the other. The longer blade was single edged while that shorter blad was more like an axe. If one made a closer inspection upon the man who was on his knees, one could tell that he was not human. From his mouth, the two large teeth grew outwards, two inches in length, marking him as the race of war the Orc. On his back was half inch plate mail that had multiple holes in it. His eyes, barely visible with his drooping eyelids, were stormy grey. If someone saw him right now, they would wonder how he was still alive. His left arm, from the middle of the bicep, was a deep cut. There were tens of arrows that poked out from his back as if he was a porcupine. "Haa.. I sure caused a mess, didn't I? Haha. at least I don't have any regrets about leaving this cursed life….. I've finally avenged you Chrystal…...Ahhh.. Why am I so tired. I'll just shut.. my eyes.. real quick .." As if in defiance against death, the figure refused to fall to the ground. As he said his final words, the Orc's eyelids fluttered a couple of times before finally he took his last breath and closed his one for the final time. What greeted him then was a peaceful rest. Minute while his spirit floated around in the darkness. he sudeenly felt his spirit being pulled away. Struggling to stay in the darkness, he feels himself pulled and suddenly bright lights surrounded him. 19 days had passed since Gruk was healed and decided to join up with the wagon man, Urist, as his personal and wagon guard in order to repay him. They had stopped at two small villages to rest and peddle their wares and restock on necessary supplies. When not in the hospitality of a village, the wagon camped along the side of the road or campsites that have been created precisely for travelers. They were set upon by bandits one night which the wagon fought off. It had cost them a pack mule and a wagon pulling mare. Many guards were injured including the wagon master that attempted to barter with bandit although he had been beaten up, but luckily Gruk was able to fend them off before further harm was caused. Another evening, the caravan had ran into a pack of hungry wolves while on the road, and had to fight for their lives and those of the animals brought along. It took them until nightfall before the last of the wolf had run away. Luckily for them, the wolves were not that big. In fact, each were only about the size of a small dog, so most of them were easily taken out, the problem was just that there were too many of them. That night, the wagon spent most of the night gathering whatever they could from the wolves before setting up camp. Other than those, most of the trip consists of scavenging nearby areas for anything useful to use as ingredients or as tools. The wagon had hired capable trackers and scouts, and always had them move ahead every so often to find places to camp for the night; while avoiding any would be threats. Most of Gruk's jobs were either helping to unload the wagons or making supports from logs to help lift the wagons while others people replaced broken axles or wheels. Most of his time was spent driving the wagon and riding with the other guards and Urist. The journey had been a long 38 days of travel to Oren, but they had finally reached their destination. The trip had taken longer than what was expected, but after the attack, everyone had been a lot more cautious, and plenty of detours had been taken to restock and avoid any danger. By the time the weary wagon had passed into the outer perimeters of Oren. After twenty minutes of slow rolling through the outer areas of Oren, the caravan stopped at a moderately sized building - Oren Inn - the sign of the inn read. With this, Gruk had fulfilled his contract; he was going to leave the caravan and try to settle in Oren. Unloading his possessions from the wagon that had been his home ever since leaving his home town, Gruk grimaced as he hauled a basket filled with clothes and grabbed his 7 foot Scythe out of the wagon. "Gruk, are you sure you don't want to come with us? We can definitely use your Strong arms." The Wagon master had asked him to remain as a guard a couple times before, but he had refused. "I'm sorry Urist, our contract was only until here, and I want to make a life for myself here. I'm glad you are still considering me even with my injury, but it is here that I must stay. Tell the others to be well and don't get careless for me will you?" Though he never really spoke to the caravan master, after that day where they had been besieged on the road, he had developed a new found admiration for the caravan master. Anyone with courage enough to try to barter with armed thugs - while tied up, beaten to a pulp, and yet insists on continuing his trade was someone worthy of his respect. They had gotten to know each other well enough to learn that the wagon master's full name was Urist qisenfaust. mitto 2312 Share Posted July 1, 2015 First of all Orc = Uruk Uruks usually have no business in working for humans, even as guards. Even the smartest Goblins slur their words when they speak because of their large tusks. They usually talk with a slur and replace some words with 'Blah' which is the Uruk language. You can find it here: http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/Blah Uruks rarely wear clothes. Or armour. They believe that armour is for the weak, last time I checked. To be honest, it's strange to hear about an Uruk putting in so much effort for love. I mean I guess it's not impossible. I'm not saying you have to remove it it's just strange. Please add more server lore to your biography, you've mentioned Oren but I would like to see more. You can find it here: http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/Front+Page Minimal intelligence isn't a strength, it's a weakness. I'm pretty sure a 7ft, 120kg Uruk fully armoured wouldn't be that agile. On that note you're a bit underpowered for an Uruk, they go up to 8-9ft and weigh much more. Your say your characters eye colour is black but the skin shows it as green. You can re apply in 24 hours.
