If man shall to the heavens soar

And elf to the other-world's door

What leaves that for us Dwed?
We sunk under, but what of us who fled?

The bellies swole with what is borne

By pick and shovel is not sworn

To us, the Deep Ones, so we sought the expanse

Therein, the field is vast, but blinded is our advance

Dust of debris and clouds of smoke enthrall

Our slow migration which oft did it stall

Until we found the navel of the world split asunder

An eccentric sight is beheld as a golem is carried and set aright inside the Irongut Clan Hall. The golem, a disquieting sight unlike any forged or created by the Descendants, casts a thousand-yard stare to any who wander past the Clan Hall. Days have passed since the last sighting of such a construct as it quietly sits idle for the amusement and unnerving of the Dwed. The Dwed have responded in various ways, a few giving it nothing more than a moment's thought while others have already clashed such as Beros Oathcast and Skippy Irongut with the former whisking away the golematic core and the latter guarding over the golem's husk.

The Dwed have puzzled and strained to make sense of this. The golems identified the Dwed as kin, but just as suddenly attacked certain Mali'ker within the city under the pretense that they were the infamous Mori'quessir. A more recent encounter with a certain Hill Giant runt, Armin, informed the Dwed of stone-giants greater than he. The Grand Marshal Jorik Grandaxe found this out after besting Armin in an honor duel that led to a pact in which the runt could roost atop the mountain that also houses the Dwarven capital in return for protection over the city.

These are no mere illusions or one-off occurrences, there lies in some corner of this continent some that have made themselves known.

((I'm slightly breaking my rule of no major clues allowed, but I'll confirm that there may be a few of these notes that aren't actually true. However, you are inferring and piecing stuff together in-game, so incomplete understanding is good.))
