The definition of powergaming is to say that your actions will succeed over other people no matter what they try to do to retaliate.

John was born to a poor Highlander family in a small village outside the Kingdom of Oren. His family consisted of his mother Christinia and Christopher Coleson. He had an older brother named Quentin, who was 13 at the time of John's birth. A sister was born when he was 3, she was named Abigail. He lived with his family working on a farm till he was 12 when a large gang of raiders attacked his village. His family tried to flee but an archer shot his mother and father in the back. The three fled into the woods. In the confusion Abigail got separated from Quentin. The pair ran to a high ridge and watched their village burn to the ground.

They fled to the Kingdom of Oren. They bunked in an inn earning their keep by working for two years. One night in the tavern they were approached by a beast of a man, he introduced himself as Borkog the Great. He said he was a pirate and gave Quentin the offer of a better life full of great plunder aboard his ship for him and John. They took the offer and lived aboard the ship for six years. John learned many valuable skills such as parkour from running along the ship and mast. They also taught him swordsmanship which he picked up fast and soon became an expert. He also used his free time training with an old sailor aboard on knife throwing which he became adept at. Then one day their ship was attacked while they were all in bed. The ship sunk taking Borkug, Quentin, and most of the crew. John was able to swim to shore, and from that point on he has used his skills as a adventurer and sword for hire.

 

Personality Traits: John is easy-going, witty, and a good person with a good sense of humor

 

Strengths/Talents: Expert swordsman, adept knife thrower(carries in hidden slit on side), adept parkour skills, can play the lute.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: John is deathly afraid of snakes, he can get a hot head when provoked, especially if someone he cares about is threatened causing him to rush to conclusions and making mistakes.

 

Appearance: John is Moderately attractive, slim but well muscled, he stands at a confident six feet.
