What is roleplaying?: Acting as a different person in a different setting, acting as they would, following their ambitions and goals, and interacting with other people in the fictional setting as the character would. A pure High Elf would probably treat an Impure High Elf with disgust and discriminate against them.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using out-of-character information in-character to gain an advantage or cheat. An example would be if someone called for their friends to help defend a location through Teamspeak or Skype. Another example could be if your character instantly knew another character’s name and all their information other than what is physically visible.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming would be having your character perform an action that is unrealistic or forcing their actions onto another character without giving them a chance to emote in response. An example would be if someone walked up to someone else and emoted something like *kills the person without emoting drawing their weapon or attempting to stab the person and instantly killing the other character.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Therie was born to a simple orc couple around the times of the war between the Reformed Kingdom of Oren and the Silver Enclave of Haelun’or and the eventual vassalage of the three Elven settlements. Therie’s parents were glad to have had a child close to the time of the Orcs finishing construction on the new Orcish city of Kodar’Goi, allowing the family of three a fresh start in the new city. Therie’s parents were Shualu and Jarnu, a clanless couple of the Goi, causing them to be seen as a bit less compared to other Orcs. As soon as Therie was able to stand and walk steadily, she was thrown into combat training like most Orcish cubs. Therie learnt basic combat tactics, weapon techniques and other things of that nature, she often preferred to use a warhammer. When Therie had grown to complete maturity, her parents began to tell her various stories and tales of the previous realms, such as Asulon and Anthos. These stories drew her to books and education as well as religious practice by attempting to serve and please the Spirits, most likely stemming from witnessing Orcish rituals and sacrifices to the Spirits. However, this didn’t keep Therie from combat practice.

When the time had come for the descendents to flee Athera, Therie was excited and anxious, rushing to the boats, ready for the trip ahead of her. Therie rushing to the boats caused her to lose her parents on the run there, she only noticed when the land began to tremble, the massive worm appearing near the well-known Scarlet Lotus Tavern. Therie panicked, screaming and shouting for her parents yet no one responded to her calls, after tiring herself out, she assumed the worm had gotten to her parents before they could get to the boats. Therie was sad and full of sorrow, moping around the boat until they had stopped in the newly found Isles of Vailor. Therie decided it was time for a fresh start, she followed her brethen to the deserts where they would settle and form The Iron Uzg. Therie took interest in alchemy upon seeing merchants selling various potions and brews, it gave her something to work towards and practice. Alongside alchemy, Therie seeks to learn more about shamanism and the Spirits the Orcs revere so proudly. Lastly, Therie seeks companionship and guidance, she decided with her new start in Vailor, she could use some new friends as well by actively seeking a clan to join.

Personality Traits: Therie is a very stubborn Orc yet she can be generous as well. Along with those two big traits, she’s very caring and nurturing but she can also be very materialistic.

Ambitions: Therie, as stated in the bio, seeks to join a clan, practice alchemy, and learn more about shamanism and the Spirits.

Strengths/Talents: Therie is a decent fighter and strong like most Orcs. She finds it easy to read and write compared to other Orcs due to her abnormal interest in books at an early age.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Therie’s stubbornness and materialistic personality causes her to be rather greedy (but she will easily share with close friends, just not much of anyone else) and quick to anger. Therie can also be easily emotionally manipulated due to her extreme loyalty to her friends and brethen.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Therie’s ancestors had intermingled with a few Dark Elves, causing their children to have slightly desaturated skin tones and paler hair colors. Therie’s skin is a desaturated teal color with slightly grey, long hair with dark amber/orange-y eyes. Due to her race, Therie stands at 6 feet tall and weighs around 242 pounds. Therie normally wears a short cut sleeveless top with either a long dress or shorts, depending on what she’s doing at the time. The tips of Therie’s hair seem to have been dipped into a blue liquid. Therie claims its’ the blood of a flying squid.
