The Great Mongol Khan 1110 Share Posted August 8, 2015 The Testament of a Turn Coat For many, change is a challenging concept. But through the sincere eyes of the righteous and just, I have found that change is not quite the struggle of popular perspective. I had been a supporter of the Adrian war effort ever since the conception of this civil war that has unfortunately befallen upon us. Just as much as the others, my mind became consumed by the ‘illfully unresponsive’ actions and ‘neglect’ from our King, His Majesty Oliver de Savoie. I now proclaim my former sins, for I upheld brain and arm against our King; for such I have repented and continue to do such through my demeanor. It was a beautiful morning, to which inclined me to strut amongst the breeze and beneath the warming sun. My arrival in Felsen, adorned in my grey cloak, was met with suspicion and caution by the Crown Loyalists, as I suspected would happen. Yet, their discomfort led to little but conversation, a refreshing and friendly one at that. The presented loyalists fashioned themselves in a calm and friendly motion which echoed with grace and compassion for their fellow man. They explained to me the misinformation and propaganda being utilized on the part of the rebels. In a mirrored occurrence, I am certain that my Adrian kin would neglect to respond to them with the same kindness that was shown to me, had one of them encountered natives in Brelus. This deep gesture of mercy and kindness rekindled the humanity that I had long forgotten in this gruesome civil war; and in response I give His Majesty my thanks, for keeping the soul of Oren alive in such a time of bleak perilousness. And I ask now to the Adrians, to put aside this lust of royalty and instead strive for compromise and cooperation within the realm of humanity. The greatest attribute of our existence is our heart. In which we find all the components of love and desire for progress as human beings. Therefore I bestow to His Majesty, my heart and soul as an Orenian man, in hopes that he can mend my spirit in parallel with the men of example that brought me back to my consciousness and showed me the greatest kindness, unnecessary mercy. -24th of the First Seed, 1519
