What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is pretending to be a certain character that is not you for a selection of time, called a roleplay
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using information learnt out of game, in game.
What is powergaming?: Powergaming is making yourself/character able to do whatever they want. For example: I stabbed you with a sword, killing you. 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s gender: Male
Character’s race: Wood elf of the Snow elven culture (Just read the bio to find out why)
Character’s age: 20
Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): My father, Ladon, and I were nice people, got along with the neighborhood just fine. There weren’t many problems. When I was 11 we had to sail away from Athera to Vailor. I was terrified and thought we would all die. When we arrived in Vailor I was afraid of the ocean and still haven't gotten over that fear. We traveled to many cities until finally staying in Lindale. I practiced the art of archery, learned from my father, and became a very good marksman by the age of 14. My mother died when I was only 2 years old, so I have no fond memory of her except her silky blonde hair, like mine, and her lush, sea green Eyes. Apparently her death was of natural causes but I never believed that, I think she fled because she was not a wood elf like my father and I. All-in-all, I was minded like my father but looked like my mother. I was a great marksman but didn’t have the strength to do to well in hand-to-hand combat, but I was not useless. I still remember when I was young I was near one of the battles of the dwarves and orcs. I remember my father telling me to run and almost being killed by an Orc. I was lucky my father was there to save me. When the age of 17 came by, my house was attacked by raiders with the intent to kill. My father and I were the lucky ones and we were able to run. We fled to the wood elves in Laureh'lin. 

In the wood elven kingdom, I learned all a man could learn about archery. I was even almost better then my father. The wood elves specialized in archery so I had a lot of experience by now. We lead yet another simple life there, my dad worked while I worked practiced some more archery. When the wood elves started picking off the snow elves, we started to feel like this wasn’t the right place for us. We didn’t want a kingdom on the offensive side of the war. We wanted to be very passive, and thus, we moved to Fenn. Before we went to Fenn the wood elves found out that we were leaving and tried to kill us. 

When we were in Fenn we were close to the dwarf civil war. One day I wandered away from my father and went all the way to Urguan. Knowing that the Snow Elves were allied with Urguan I injured a few rebel dwarves. Nothing has happened to me since then but I'm prepared to do anything for Fenn.

Personality Traits: Kind, Brave, Quick to anger, Hyper.
Ambitions: To become a commander or general of the snow elves.
Strengths/Talents: Archery, running, and literature
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Bad at close combat, not very daring, and is too independent. Cota also has a slight fear of the ocean
