In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Cîlion

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Dark Elf

Character’s age: 37

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): As a young boy, Cîlion was made fun of for being weak and and skinny. He wanted to do something about it, but he didn’t know what to do. Eventually he didn’t care. But then it got worse. Some kid pushed him and he landed on a wall and broke his arm. His parents then got involved. At the age of 12, his parents hired a trainer, Fêrdir, who was about 900 years old. Fêrdir taught Cîlion martial arts, archery, two-handed combat, one-handed combat, dual-wielding, and tried to teach him magic but Cîlion wasn't ready yet. After 3 years of training, Cîlion was stronger than all of the bullies. The next time someone would pick on him, they’d get punched in the face. Unfortunately, due to his bulkiness, no one even dared to bother him. Eventually he started to make friends and by the age of 20, he had a wife.

             When Cîlion was 23 his wife passed away. She had gotten some disease. Cîlion was devastated. He started to be very antisocial and always kept to himself. Cîlion blamed the doctors for her death and was very angry. He started to hate everyone and everything. This led to him killing a random person on the street. He started to crave killing people. He began working as a paid assassin, because if you’re good at something never do it for free*. When Cîlion was 36, Athera was evacuated. There was a giant worm attacking Athera. Everyone was forced to leave all of their belongings and move to Vailor. He continued his career as an assassin when he arrived and now has killed over a hundred people, without getting caught, and gained thousands of Minas. He lost this money, due to a bet on a fight, and will regain it… Eventually… His business began to slow down and he now does less assassinations and more of trying to meet people.

 

Personality Traits: Sneaky/Stealthy, Suspicious/Shady, Intelligent, Deceptive, and Persuasive

Ambitions: Mastering Archery, Learning Spells

Strengths/Talents: Assassinations, Throwing Knives, Archery (decent but not great), decent at Martial Arts

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not to wise, not the best in battle ( only good when he is hidden), not a people person, doesn’t like humans

Please include more server lore into your biography. Just like Game of Thrones or Skyrim; Lord of the Craft has it own unique towns, cities, creatures etc. Please show you understand the general setting by including some in your biography.

Your character is very cliché and it almost seems like powergaming at how they became so powerful so fast, becoming adept in multiple weapons and an assassin. When writing a biography please make sure you keep in mind a story telling aspect, do not make your character unnecessarily over-powered. Start of a bit low, for now.
