How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? A friend and I were searching for an RP server and came across this one on Youtube.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of portraying a character made up by you or others within a setting which is not portraying reality in most cases. Examples of this are the acting of a profession or role within specified world.

 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the use of Out of Character Info found on forums and through other players (sometimes not involved in the situation either) to learn about events you did not know before. Instead of using your character to learn this information in game, a friend or such would just give your the coordinates to a location which would not be realistic as you could just walk there (as an example).

 

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is the use of emotes, chat messages or different descriptions of your character to give yourself more skill and power. A few examples are mind-reading and Telekinesis in order to win in any given situation you are placed against.

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they  don’t contradict history.):

 

Gantar grew up in the Realm of Athera, on the outskirts of Laureh'lin; somewhat near its capitol.

The birth of Gantar was considerably chaotic as he was born during the escape from Thales and were on route to Athera.

While the snow, cold and darkness spread throughout the realm, the Thi'midis family rushed towards the port town of Tuv Aviv where all the Descendants gathered in hope of sailing away to a new realm.

Unexpectedly, Gazadriel attacked the people of Thales as they reached Tuv Aviv; His mother was asked to rush below deck but his father, quite the opposite. He was asked to join the rest of the nation in fighting against the evil that once tried to seize them.

As the ships finally departed from the port, his mother would hold him tightly as waves and thunder would down upon the seas they sailed.

 

Gantar is rather educated and comes from a good family which includes his mother, father and few siblings. Gantar and Maximus (his eldest brother) would enjoy all kinds of travels alongside their mother; who had continuously taught them the very ideas their father had once shared. To respect nature as their own, to be kind but never to let their guard down for as the events they had once eccountered would come to haunt their dreams time and time again.

Their mother would also seek out the best for them. By making sure their knowledge grew bigger every time they read a book; their respect, not only for others but for themselves strengthened and to use only what is required and with the highest respect to nature while advancing their skills in baking and archery.

 

While somewhat careless at the time, their respect for nature increased immensely as they grew older and wiser. Their travels widened further and further away from home and would last weeks if not months. Never leaving each other's side,  Gantar and Maxiums would fight through the toughest of situations; from being robbed of all their minas to getting lost in the biggest, seemingly never-ending forests; the brothers would maintain their strong relationship and endured on their travels always returning back home.

In the year 1513, the giant worm which ruined Athera separated them from their mother and forced them to move away to Vailor with the little belongings they obtained while travelling.     

    

Vailor was noticeably different from Athera; The way he hand once lead his life in Athera now had to be altered; He could no longer travel as often and had now to work for the minas he would like to spend.

Currently, Gantar is setting aside any extra minas in hope that one day he will be able to travel the realms in search of his father; during his free time, he continuously works towards enhancing his skills in archery and hopes that one day he will be wise and brave enough to further study Druidism.

 

Personality Traits:

Calm, Focused, Logical Thinker, Stubborn and Discreet; Gantar is always looking for something new to do and can easily adapt to any given situation. Although always focused on objectives and his dreams, he has a sense of discreetness about his presence and doesn’t like to draw attention to himself.

He is likely to stay calm in situations where others could easily panic and tries to come up with plans that will eventually work.

 

Ambitions:

Gantar feels as if he cannot grow in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired and success achieved; he would like to begin travelling the world again. Also hopes that the like of her bakery will grow in popularity and slowly make friends, not only in his realm but wherever he chooses to travel.

 

Strengths/Talents:

Gantar is ambitious and rather adventurous. He is incredibly creative and can easily come up with plans although his critical thinking can sometimes slow down progress. He is dedicated and gives 100% in whatever he sets his mind and heart to, an example of this is archery. His talent with a bow has developed quickly as he takes every free minute to practice.  He is also kind and respects everything and everyone around his existence.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities:

Gantar can be quite shy and stubborn when meeting new people. In a situation of panic, he might not always share his ideas in fear that others will not be accepting. Over thinking has also always been one of Gantar’s biggest weaknesses as he will not be fulfilled unless everything is working out like he intended it to. His kind-hearted spirit can also sometimes be shut down around people he has never met before as it is extremely difficult for him to trust strangers.

Gantar wears simple clothing complimented by colours of the forests he would stride in for most of his life. His face would be thin, sharply carved out by the stands of dark hair that would fall beside his face; his skin would be darker than the usual Wood elf for as it had accomodated to the exposure of the sun he would contionously get.

((I would like to apologise for the lack of detail the screenshot provides but I assure you the skin is alot more complex within Minecraft.))
