You can always lose yourself in RPs, occasionally adapting them as a sort of "second life". -What do you expect this server will be like?: I have a feeling that this server will feel a lot like WoW, and will have an exceptional community of players and moderators with just the right amount of fantasy. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: All of the servers I have played on have either been FreeBuild or belonged to my friends. I would only leave a server that is constantly being griefed and/or often being reset. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes. -Name the 4 races on this server: Elves, Humans, Orcs (orks?) and Dwarves. -How did you hear about us?: PetriDaGamerNerd on YouTube. -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: JuicyFries In-Character: -Character Name: Finwë Carnesîr -What is your Race?: Elf. -Biography: Finwë Carnesîr is a very intellectual wanderer that enjoys exploring and various forms architecture. His journey began far, far away from the land of Aegis, in the great, flat plains of his homeland, where war was frequent and death and disease were plentiful. The attacks varied between the rotting hordes of Undead and Orkish Warbands, protected by robe, leather, and armor, killing with ancient, dark magics and with dual-bladed axe and spiked warhammers. Finwë just wanted to get away from it all, and with his parents having been slain when he was very young he wasn't going to miss anything. He managed to sneak out of his home through the tunnel he had dug in case of emergency, and escaped just before the latest orkish raid began. Finwë wandered, from here to there, meeting strange hostile mutants, and friendly little Gnommish people among the many on his journey, which lead to the center of the Land of Aegis. -Character Age: 71 -Character Appearance: Tall and moderately thin, as most Elves are, with a mess of long blond hair and an ornate suit of red armor with a gold trim. Finwë's armor is a family heirloom and was passed on to him by his father before he died in one of the many attacks, it was said to be magically imbued with an intellect enhancing power. He has an angular and moderately bony face with high cheekbones. Finwë's skin is quite fair but it has enough pigment in it to be able to tan. -Character Personality: Occasionally a goof, but once he gets working he enters a mindset which is hard to break. He also enjoys exploring ruins and examining and learning from diagrams. -Your ambitions: To become a professional builder and "Redstoner". -Can your character read or write?: Yes, and dabbles a bit in speaking foreign languages. -Can your character mine?: He can mine, but prefers not to unless necessary. -Are you a capable builder?: To an extent, and is often trying new patterns/looks. -Can you wield a sword?: Finwë isn't too handy with offensive tools, but can wield a bow if necessary. -Enjoy Farming?: No. -Does your character have any special skills?: He is moderately proficient with redstone and has better than average logic/puzzle solving skills. -A screenshot of your skin: -Other Information: I am amazing. I can speak 13375p34k, although it's generally considered spam, and I don't often check forums. If there is a set list of rules, I'll follow them and try to enforce them if a mod or admin is not online/near the "crime scene".
Zalagor 0 Share Posted September 4, 2011 I'd advise you to rework your application. Your Bio is a little short and your character overview does not show any signs of you being a great role-player. Check some of the accepted application and try to improve yours. Not that my opinion means anything but I don't think you will get accepted right now. Good luck! Whitebeard 126 Share Posted September 4, 2011 Common reasons people are denied: -It has bad grammar or Punctuation. -Your biography was too short. -Your Biography didn't link to the lore of Aegis. -You obviously didn't read the lore. -Fix the layout: This could be from having bolds everywhere or simply being hard to read. -It lacked effort. -Your skin isn't RP. -You didn't include a skin link. -Your application was too short. These are just some of the reasons it could have been I encourage you too check out the following link if you are struggling to write an application. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/1035-read-first-chevaliers-guide-to-posting-a-good-application/
