An Inquisitorial Call to Trial, 1532

Issued by his Holiness

The Inquisitorial Tribunal hereby calls the Count of Pompourelia, Arthur of the House of Roswell to the court of His Holiness Everard II for his actions, and the actions of his men. He is accused of Blasphemy for the attempted arrest of the clergyman Augustus of Alsace, the disciple of his Eminence Bishop Piers of Lorraine. Furthermore he is called to for the sacking of an Abby within Alsace as well as for threats against his Holiness person from his soldiery.

Men and Women of the Church are to be treated with dignity and respect and are not to be threatened without a writ of proper authority. It is reiterated that Count Arthur Roswell travel to Luciensport to fend off those allegations.

Count Arthur hears this news. He turns to his Steward. "I sacked no Abbey in Alsace. Augustus was to be arrested on valid charges. I shall go to Luciensport to clear my name." He gathers his things and makes with haste to Lucienport.

The Pontificate, after a series of explanations from the defendant and plaintiff hereby declares Count Arthur Roswell cleared of all charges. His actions taken against Father Augustus evidently made by mistake and not intentionally. The Right Honorable Count Arthur Roswell is congratulated on his pious patience in the matter. DEUS MAGNUS.
