In-Character Information

Character’s name: Ardael Silinore

Character’s sex: Female

Character’s race: Elf

Character’s age: 45

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): In the beginning of her life she lived with her mother,father and sister Helumaire. Her mother would teach them sewing, baking and painting. Painting was difficult for her but her sister (nicknamed Helu) excelled in painting. Helu always tried to teach Ardael painting and was always kind to her. Ardael never could quite get it. She would learn to paint lovely pieces but something was always wrong with it. Like blue grass or a green sky. But Ardael loved sewing. She loved to pick up a needle and some thread and just start working on something. She would make clothing that even her father would wear. Her father worked as a guard and would sometimes take her out to the woods to practice archery and she learned a lot. Archery made her feel so content. The bow in her hand just felt natural to her. At home her mother would teach her logic as well as feminine things. She had a neighbor who lived next door called Aringore Alkinthaer who was the same age as her. He was her best friend. They would go out and explore the forest together. They loved hanging out together. After 2 years he moved away and she never saw him again, she was sad about it for a bit but soon she got over it, without Aringore she spent a lot more time with her family.  A few months later a new family moved in. With a mother, father and 3 sisters. They were generally a rich family and Ardael's family didn't have a lot of money. Helumaire made friends with the eldest girl and Ardael despised the neighbors. She found them arrogant due to the fact that they were always  talking about how lovely they were. Helu adored them and couldn't understand Ardael's hostility to the girls, Cindesse Stormaine, Erisne Stormaine and Astane Stormaine. Ardael got more into baking in her later childhood. Her family and some other neighborhood kids loved her cakes. 

 

  In her early teens her mother was killed by orcs and forced Helumaire and her to watch them kill her. That really scarred her. Before they could be eaten her father came and killed the orcs but he was too late to save their mother. Her father felt like he was personally responsible. Helumaire tried to convince their father that it wasn't his fault and it couldn't be stopped, that gave him enough motivation to get back on his feet and he would teach Ardael and Helumaire archery. Helumaire wasn't very good and Ardael would try to teach Helu archery. Soon her father went missing. Helu and Ardael were sent to live in their grandmother's house which had a lot of open woods and she would always go and explore the woods. Soon her grandmother died of illness and  they weren't sad because her grandmother was in a better place now. Helumaire got a chance to live on a ship and travel around Athera and she left Ardael behind. And now Ardael is all alone with a feeling of bitterness towards her sister. 

Personality Traits: Competitive, dominating, courageous, open minded, perfectionist, bad tempered

Ambitions: She wants to join/lead a guild and have a family that doesn't die like hers.

Strengths/Talents: Archery, dressmaking and baking

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Painting and understanding when a situation is wrong and not being able to step away from it.
