What is roleplaying?: to act and speek as if you are the person you are portraying and in there situation.

What is metagaming?: the use or abuse of out of game knowledge to advance or better your ig self and breaking rp in a sens. 

What is powergaming?: from what i understand not letting your self lose in rp kinda like ignoring the fun of the actually role playing to get to a certain gole as fast as possible (i have never really heard that term before so i wasn't sure what it even was) 

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Aywen Morin

Character’s sex: male

Character’s race:  high elf (identify's as one of the snow elves)

Character’s age: 59

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Before he was born, his father a High Elf, fell in love with his mother, a beautiful Snow Elf. They met while his mother was washing her clothes, his father was out hunting when he came across her. Overtaken by her beauty, he approached her and began inquiring about her then they agreed to meet there again on the next full moon, and so they did. They kept meeting each other on the full moon of every month for about 3 or so human years,  but, then at the end of the third year something happened ..his birth, following the formation of the holy oren empire. his father couldn't deal with the shame of having a snow elf son, he thought it would be a disgrace to his pure high elf name so he abandoned him and his mother when he was just a baby, and it’s just been him and his mother ever since he could remember, most of the other snow elves were nice to them but a lot of the younger ones mocked him and picked on him for having a High Elf Father, and he heard the whisperers of the Elders talking about him as he passes by, so even among his own people he always felt as if he was and outsider...an outcast....but that’s the only life he knew. At least he still had his mother... she was the only one in this world who ever made him feel accepted, but when he was 42 years old, his mother got really sick for a long time, not long after that, a large worm like creature started appearing and supposedly destroying city's and swallowing army's whole, the elders in our village decided the lands were no longer safe so we fled to the isles of vailor. our people settled down in area now known as the principality and tribes of fenland the trip has very hard on my mother considering her condition she barley made it to fenland he had to carry her on his back for the last of the trip...  and after a while of living there her condition got even worse and she died when i was 43, then the last thing keeping him there was gone so he decided to leave his tribe for the first time in his life, to try and find his own place in the world...and since then, he has been on the road.

 

Personality Traits: guarded/withdrawn,  not trusting, kindhearted, strong willed, resolute, dedicated, loyal .

Ambitions: to find i place i belong in the world

Strengths/Talents: i have a natural affinity for magic such as enchanting and i have always been very strong for my size

Weaknesses/Inabilities: stubborn

• Being a snow elf is more of a culture than a race. Your character would be high elven.
• You might want to take a look at your definitions and expand upon them - feel free to look it up, but remember to put it into your own words!
• Make sure that you contain more references to the lore, such as the place your character grew up in, or where he/she has traveled to or aspires to go to. Also, try including more historical things that your character could have witnessed (like the giant worm attack in Athera!) - check out the wiki if you need to.
