A Letter to Charles

Crudily written with charcoal via illiterate man, a letter is left beneath a painting.

Dear Charles,

I've been out getting supplies and trying to find the meaning of life, retirement's enjoyable. I went home to Ard'Ghorrock today, as I do every night and I'd just like to commend you on your efforts to redecorate the little despite the little spare time that you have.

You seem to be maturing into a respectable man. I remember when you first entered my sewers and chatted with me and the fellow Vanders. It's a shame many confuse you for another, insulting and what not. You don't deserve it.

I plan to unplug the water system later this Saint's week, without constant attention it appears grime has been growing and well, it's nasty. Speaking of which, Maltism. On my mini-adventures I discovered a little thing called Maltism. Don't know what it is, but it's very Owynistic. In times like these, Charles, you need faith to keep you sane.

I'll keep to my wing, but I must say that these... outsiders spreading lies and what not is getting on my nerves. I write this letter as insurance as such details tend to slip from my mind.

-Fred.
