The New Son

Blood curdling cries of aggression and stalwart resilience engulfed the Orcish capital of Laz-Dur. Clanmother of the Braduk clan, Lukra'Braduk heaved in her make-shift nest, her first born son Mok'han stood outside, vigilant for possible threats. It seemed his mother's defiance and protectiveness had been passed down to him, even still, the prospect of a younger brother was something the adolescent Orc relished. Larty 'Wun Eye' did his work within the nest, he had been in this situation many times, specifically once before with Lukra some odd years prior.

It was no easy feat birthing a Braduk. One would think those of such a size must have had to of started small. It is only logical. Yet they did not, their massive forms were equally as so at birth, lessened only by proportion in regards to age. This made it particularly difficult on the mother whos job was to bring these cubs into the world and not only that, survive the process. Lukra had done this once before, and was determined to do it again. And so she did.

As Larty inspected the infant as he quickly cleaned it before presenting it to Lukra, one thing was abundantly clear, something that he, like all Braduks, were not accustomed to. The genetics of the non-Braduk were visible on the cub. Unlike Mok'han, this cub was no carbon copy of his father. This cub was not as big as its brother was, yet it was by no accounts small and still dwarfed any other infant in comparison, its eyes blue eyes were washed out rather than vibrant, with specs of brown, shades of its mother. Moreover, its skin was not a deep green, instead it had a lighter tone, similar to Lukra's. With the addition of several of Lukra's physical features, the genes of the cub, whilst inherently dominated by its father and that of the Braduks, was notably common with its mother. This was not a negative thing for Lukra was no weak link, it was only a rare occurrence.

Kahn squinted through the vicious sand storm, the grain flickering into his vision keeping his sight at bay, nigh blinded. He sat atop his rhino, Gore, its greyish blue hide was covered with varying animal pelts, as was the Wargoth himself. He had fashioned a cloak, or poncho if you will to garner some protection from the storm as his journey was long, travelling from the far corner of the desert to the other. He readjusted the cloth covering his mouth and nose before giving Gore a kick to the side, pressing on, moving on instinct as to where he needed to go. Throughout his years, as most Orcs do, he had begun to master traversing the desert and knew it as apart of himself. He soon arrived at the Braduk home, the notorious Doomfort Dub. The gate cranked open and he entered, his rhino making its way to its cave. The Wargoth entered his throne room, slamming the doors shut to block out the storm.

Sliding the cloak over his head and pulling the bandana like cloth from his face, Kahn then noticed that Lukra sat in one of the many chairs in the room. In her arms, an infant boy. Blood was awash on her light coloured hide, yet not of her own. She had, soon after giving birth, gone to fight in the Orcish civil war.

"Imprezzive" Was Kahn's response as she told him this. Father inspected son, and the son met his fathers standards.

"He'l need ah name." Lukra stated. They had spoken briefly on the topic, and one was agreed upon.

"Durakhan."

To continue the 'Han' lineage, and in memory of a loyal soldier, Durakai, this cub bears his name.

Soon after his birth, Durakhan was inspected by the elders of the Uzg, and a conclusion was drawn notably by Grothmar'Gorkil.

Durakhan will play an important role in the future of the Braduks and will uphold 'prophecy' that each Braduk cub is burdened with. Destined for great or terrible things.

G'day everybody.

If you are interested in Orcish RP or would like to start a new character, currently Samoblivion and my character have a new cub that needs to be played. It is preferred that this be your main although you arent expected to sacrifice pre-exisitng characters. I'll give a quick OOC run down.

---

I myself am in the ACST timezone, Samo is GMT. Preferably the player would be GMT, however EST and even Aussie timezones work also.

Dont shy away if you dont know blah, or you dont understand Orc culture. You'd be playing a cub, so the beauty is you will be able to learn as your character does. Worse comes to worse, ask questions, nothing to be embarrassed about.

You'll pretty much have guaranteed RP for some time as you are trained by my character, Kahn.

There is a skin prepared, however if you are talented just say youre gonna give it a crack and Ill tell you the specifics.

Now to the RP stuff.

Being a Braduk, Durakhan will be huge. He wont be quite as big as his brother Mok'han as his mother's genes show through more, yet he will still tower over the rest of the Uzg.

His starting age will be from 4-5 depending on how long this sits and when a player is gathered.

Being apart of the actual Braduk family (ie a blood relative to Braduk), Durakhan will be amongst the cobweb of bloodlines that exist in this family. These bloodlines typically dictate physical and personality traits, however, this is not a set in stone you must rp your character this way deal. For example, Kahn is of the "we dont f*ck around" cold blooded murderer bloodline, yet he can actually be compassionate. The most relevant ones to Durakhan are;

Braduk:

The founding father for all bloodlines, there is a saying for those who stem from his descant, they are either destined for great or terrible things. All those of his bloodline are of a particularly larger build than most orcs, with skin ranging from various swampy shades of green to a dark

Orgrim:

The founding father of the warrior bloodline of the Braduks, Orgrim was said to be the greatest warrior in Braduk history. Those of his line are the biggest and strongest of the Braduks, much more so than those who were of the line of Goregutz. The current Braduks in the clan are descendents of Orgrim. They bare huge muscular builds and towering heights, and are a savage warrior people.

Line of Kahn (Rage):

Those who are of the line of Kahn are the smartest of Orgrims bloodline, but also the most well rounded warriors. A terrifying combination of strength and speed, these orcs care little for reason and are excellent killers. Breath takingly aggressive and hot-headed, the line of Kahn are touched by bloodlust much more so than any other blood-line known in existence, meaning that many of these orcs have a calling to Enrohk.

Find out more about the bloodlines here -

If any of this tickles your interest, pm me or samoblivion on the forums or on skype, they are belabaid1996 and jack.northrop96.

Thanks

"He'l be a bubhosh un." A moderately smaller and squat uruk named Maknor would state upon hearing of the new Braduk arrival.

Kharak'Raguk would sit upon his throne, an excessively energetic Goblin relaying the news to him.

"
Deze harhd tikz shud mayke himh bub'hozh." He remarked, gesturing for the Goblin to leave. He then reclined into his seat, contemplating his solitary condition.

Wud makes some sik gruel for Lukra and Kahn, and with haste dished the fine orcish cuisine out to them in large, olog sized receptacles, comprised of an orangey acacia wood.
