What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you get to be something you are not. You can get away from reality and live something else.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you use outside resources, in reality, to benefit you in game. When you need help on something and you text someone to help you. Out of character. You could get ban by that.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is when you strive to a specific goal that is set or you have set, boundaries are already made.

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: JeansterTheJest (Jean)

Character’s sex: Female

Character’s race: half human, Heartlander, half dark elf (more on the human side)

Character’s age: 18

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): This character lost her dad at a young age and wants to become stronger, so she won't lose anyone else in her life. Her mom is a human and her father is a Dark Elf. She wants to be at the top of her game and be the best person she can. Jean likes to win, she is competative and is fun. Jean loves to joke, that why her name is JeansterTheJest. (Jest:Jester)  She loves to play around but gets to work as soon as she is needed. Jean is a poor kid who steals, to get around. She doesn't have much and works with what she has. Jean wants a dog but can't afford it. She had a dog once before her dad died. Jean likes to hunt, and loves to adventure. Jean uses a sword.

          She lives in Sutica, Caliphate. She looks up to Mithius Dalma. Her father died as soon as she was born, when he went hunting and was mysteriously killed. She doesn't know who killed her father but wants to know, that is one of her goals. When her father died, she had to work to make up the money. Her mom went into a coma when Jean was 10. So Jean was forced to work 3 jobs to live. When her mom woke up, Jean was 16. They went back to normal. Her mom was still depressed at the father disappearance.(or death) Jean started to steal at around 13. So that she could get more stuff without having to work so much. Her mom broke her arm when Jean was 17, so Jean had to work some more.Her mom recovered and Jean was 18. Then her mom let her go and explore. Jean has had a thought life so far, but pushes through it.

Personality Traits: Happy, playful, smart, nice

Ambitions: Wants to have a loving family later on. She wants to just live her life right now. Wants to be rich.

Strengths/Talents: Good at hiding, smart, fast

Weaknesses/Inabilities: small, weak
